Come watch the MLG summer arena with your fellow Barcrafters at Boomerjack's Wings and Grill!

We recently upgraded our projector which has 10x the lumen rating of the previous model! w00t!

We'll have both Smash Bros. and Marvel vs Capcom setups going all evening for those who don't bother with Starcraft, along with an old genesis console with 20+ classics to choose from (including michael jackson's moonwalker, lol RIP QQ (T_T) )

Boomerjack's will now also be serving up our custom drink menu which you may have seen at previous Barcraft events. I know im not the only one who missed walking up the bar and ordering a Jim Raynor.

Representation from the UNT Collegiate Star League will be in attendance. UNT recently won the grand final of the CSL, so we have bragging rights to the finest college SC2 players in North America. They'll also be recruiting on site!

As you can tell, there's a lot to get excited about for our second Barcraft at Boomerjacks, and I hope you will mark your calendars, invite your friends, and join us for what I believe will be the best Barcraft yet.

Why is this at 8pm when the MLG schedule says day 3 broadcast ends at 8:30pm?

It ends at 7:30p CST last I checked. We watch with a small time delay since our current venue has a poor internet connection and it allows us to skip ads and get to the action.

Other than that poor connection Boomerjack's is a pretty awesome venue with good food and drinks. This event and going forward they are having a special Barcraft drink menu too.

If you come, you're gonna have a good time.

I just explained it in the previous post, but I'll do my best to explain it again and better.

Our current venue, Boomerjacks, has everything we need for Barcraft right, except for their internet connection sucks. Because of this we watch the games on a time delay(AKA not LIVE), while this does stink a bit, if you just stay way from TL for a few hours it's not a problem. This does give some awesome benefits though, like being able to skip the normal ads you see during MLG and going straight from one game to the next.

We've got an AWESOME projector and a high quality setup that's been a lot of fun for the past few Barcrafts at this venue. Another nice thing about the venue is they have loads of TVs they let us take over to set up games on, like Super Smash Bros, Mortal Kombat, etc. We're working on a better internet solution for future Barcrafts.
