So I've recently realized that almost all of the songs I play on the guitar are obscure, and most likely unknown to people who aren't guitarists of similar style, etc. For example, if I said "Andy McKee" 90% of [acoustic] guitarists would know who he is, but I've observed that everyone else would be like "wut?" The majority of the music I play is either that or game music (Chrono Cross <3).
Anyways, so to my point: To add to my "aresenal", what are some good songs that I can play, in which if anyone else hears it, they actually know the song distinctly? The only ones I can think of that I can play are probably Here Comes the Sun, and Wonderwall (which I don't particularly like).
Anyways, list away, and thanks a lot!

So I'm here, working on setting my a server for my parents office. As for a certain server program, the permissions have to be set differently. Due to operating system + software issues, I had to do it manually...
As I'm sitting there, I make the worst typo of my life: sudo chown -R fmserver / *Presses Enter*
So...... Yeah. If you don't really get it, bottom line, I blew up all the permissions on the entire server, and right now I'm hoping and waiting for the permissions repair to work. If not... FML.

So I was sitting there in class, almost phasing out, until I realized my friend had volunteered me to be the liaison for ideas of a class T-Shirt. Just as an explanation, AP Calculus, every year, has a different T-Shirt, as a pride thing, I suppose. Also, despite me being the liaison, no one has any ideas... Anyways, due to my lack of creativity, I go to the a mind-numbing awesomeness and manpower of TL, I shall ask you for one request: T-Shirt ideas that fit the genre of AP Calculus. It can be witty, deep, self righteous, etc.
EDIT: If you have some idea in terms of an image (i.e. IIRC, last year was "Integrals, my Antiderivitive" with the antidrug advertising campaign as a design. Secondly, I have no problem hiding a TL emblem in there somewhere, haha. Back to the point, for the ideas, if you have an image, you can just describe it. We'll find a way to get it into print.

Okay, so I was sitting here at the computer, screwing around, until out of the corner of my eye, I noticed the time. I had to leave. But simultaneously I realized I hadn't done significant exercise in a week or so, and I have to play tennis in a few days. I had about 30 minutes to run, shower, get dressed, get ready, and leave. So I rush outside, and run for about twenty minutes, then my mom calls when I get back and tells me to do some errands. I do so, with about 6-7 minutes to spare. I rush to get my clothes ready, while holding my bottle of water. I was still somewhat tired and thirsty, but I had to shower. I take the bottle of water into the shower, and something about drinking water in the shower was just blissful. It seemed so natural, and fluid (no pun intended), yet ironic. So here I was, being covered in water, while drinking it, and getting ready for the shower.

Anyways, random epiphany aside, I was got my mail, and noticed one of the typical "lost child" notices. They happen all the time, but this one had a particular word that caught my eye.
![[image loading]](http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l241/mmrk923/IMG_0300.jpg) I know, my phone camera quality is horrid. I didn't have a camera to take it with at the time. Anyways, what that really says is "Ulysses Mondragon." I know, it isn't that outrageous, but I felt like putting it here.
As a side note, the reason I have time to do this is because turns out, I wasn't really that late, so I just sat down, and decided to use the time to make a blog post.
Finally, I have another statement... I hate Protoss. I log into iCCup with the intention of getting C-. I know I can, I just never sat down to do it. I play a ZvZ, but lose fairly. No problem. Next, I play a Protoss on Python who goes 1 gate no gas... I'm assuming that there is a proxy since I'm already at my 3rd hatchery. Turns out, he proxies the cyber core, while I'm massing lings. He builds a corsair, and runs over me because I have all ground, and no antiair whatsoever. Probably my fault, but it was still painful. I win the next game ZvT Mech with ease, then lose a ZvZ again. I kill about.. 6 drones when my mutas come out (He 12 hatched), and he just hides behind spores. I have way more mutas than him because of the gas harass, but he then just attacks me with inferior mutalisks, and about 10 lings. They kill my natural hatchery, and then he runs away with his mutas to hide behind the spores. I attack out of desperation then lose. Morning: 1-3.
Later, I screw around, talk to friends, watch VODs, etc. I come back, and boo yeah 3-0. But the last game is what gives me the reason to say my original statement. I destroy him, but he camps behind a pylon wall and lots of storm. I can't do much about it, but I don't really care. i have a huge advantage. He MUST be starved out by now. He takes his island, and builds 12 corsairs + 4 reavers. I have no hydralisk upgrades at all, so I just sit there chasing him around with (eventually) 40 hydralisks after losing like.. 4-5 hatcheries to reavers and disruption web. I finally beat him, but I chased him for 30 minutes... -_- Okay, I gotta go, bye!

Disclaimer: No mac jokes. I don't care how you think, but don't waste a post here just to say "lol macfag." I won't do anything about it, seeing as banning you from my blog is not only petty but also reducing the chances of it being read (through bumps), haha.
Anyways, so I dual boot OS X + XP. I pre-allocated 20GB to the partition because I thought I wouldn't need any more than that to just play SC. After some applications later, and CS 1.6, I found out I was right, with 1 GB left to spare. The problem was, SC2 is coming out "soon" (Which I think is going to be in 1-2 years from now), and I needed more space. Not only for SC2, but to have the freedom to use any programs I wanted without worrying about that last one GB of free space.
So I back up my windows partition with the intention of removing the partition, re-allocating 30-40 GB, and then restoring it. Here's the problem, I never defragmented my computer, so my 50 or so GB of free space on my computer were in tiny chunks spread across the hard drive, and huge files were in the way of me creating the new partition.
As a result, I spent an hour clearing my free space (not just the directory), only to find out it didn't work. I spent another hour trying to find the hidden temporary file taking up my entire hard drive (as a result of stopping the free space clearing in the middle of the process). Finally, I find a defragmenting program, and I run it. That takes up four hours, then I had to go, so I stopped it, went home.
Due to the fact that the program I downloaded requires me on a different boot disc in order to do a complete detailed defragmentation, I looked for another one, found it, and began downloading with the hopes of me making it before I go to sleep, so I can run it over night. It was all going great, "blazing" speeds of 150kbps, and an estimated time of ~40 minutes. Not bad, until I check in an hour later, to find that it dropped to 15kbps, and while I'm typing this, 7.9kbps. I won't get it done tonight, which means I can't use my computer tomorrow because I'll be on a virtual boot disc with nothing but the defragging program and an operating system.
Worst of all though, if it doesn't fix my partitioning issue, I can't play SC on iCCup. OS X SC is just not the same. No third party applications, no anti-hack launcher, no LAN on b.net, or hamachi... nothing.
EDIT: Formatted a bit better for your eyes' sakes.
EDIT2: Update, though unrelated: My seed rate just went form nil to ~80kbps. When that happened, my bit rate doubled (albeit, to 16kbps, not much, but better than before). Now, I would test if the UL rate actually is related to the seeds that you get, but I'm afraid to do so. If I stop uploading, and my DL drops, I'd hate myself.

After some cooperation with Mikeymoo, and a lot of time syncing, and recording, I have created a easy progression of chords that should be in key with mikeymoo's amazing singing! Here it is, but you can also download a text file so you know where to start the chords (monospaced). Might I suggest a band-wagon sing-a-long at the next TL meet? EDIT: Okay, added the original song with guitar added. Note that it is mediocre at best, somewhat due to recording conditions, but it should give you an idea as to how I played along. http://www.filefront.com/13999563/lilsusie2.mp3 |----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| ***Capo 1, Standard Tuning (EADGBE)***

Okay, so I needed a DVI - HDMI converter cable to connect my computer to a TV. So I just google search it, find a cheap price on Amazon. But the thing is, when I go to the page, this normally $30.00 cable costs $0.06 (USD). At first, I'm like... WHAT? So I keep refreshing, thinking it might be some bug or something, but it doesn't change. So I put in a order and get it for $3.53, after shipping.

The thing is, I keep looking around, and it turns out other items are obscenely underpriced. Examples: Item 1 Item 2
What do you think? If it's legit, have fun saving some money on random items. If not, I hope I wasn't a victim of phishing -_-.

I log into iCCup with the mindset of mass gaming, and accomplishing something this season. Despite it being the season, I felt I could at least beat a few people. After chilling for a bit, I finally join a game. I see the guy, and I see he's D+. The fact that it was this early in the season and that he was D+ didn't really click in my mind =\.
So I proceed to play one game. I get utterly raped. Completely and painfully. That sucked, but since it was ZvZ, I felt I could take at least one game from him. I rejoined, and got raped again. In frustration, I quit iCCup, and went on their website to see who I was actually playing.
I check his past ranks. A-. And then I look at current 1x1. He's #7. Ugh... I think I'm going to take a break from iCCup until the middle of the season so that I know who I'm playing =(.
Just waiting for the next Who is Who so I can know if I actually played anyone. Had a somewhat interesting conversation. He said he was Korean, I accused him of lying of his ethnicity, and he proceeded to explain something about corean vs korean, and then claiming 'I AM SUPER COREAN!"
=\.
UPDATE: I feel some pride in saying that I was 8% of the wins by the #1 person on iCCup right now.

As a child, I used to be able to speak relatively good Chinese + Taiwanese, at least for my age. But my ability is the languages remained stagnant, or deteriorated (Taiwanese), as I grew up and had more things to do rather than study in these languages. I come from a half white/half Taiwanese background, and have started to regret not learning it when I had the chance. Now, I still have a basic knowledge in the language, and am able to speak at a very basic level. I am severely lacking in vocabulary and sentence structure, so here is my request:
Movies! As I was watching Ip Man, I realized that I could hear what they are saying, read the subtitles, then reform what they actually said in my mind so that I could understand it. I also heard from a few of my other friends that watching the movies helps their fluency, so I thought I'd give it a try. I am just requesting any Chinese (Mandarin) movies, that will most likely have English subtitles. Soap operas, dramas, action, anything; just preferably somewhat entertaining so I can actually watch it. Just suggest anything, and thanks for your help TL!

I personally do some art and screwing around on the computer, when I am bored, I get a request, anything. Though I have lost a lot of what I have done, I just want to see what other people have accumulated over the years in terms of their work. It doesn't have to be art, just whatever you have done or modified. I'm sure with the massive man-power of TL, some amazing stuff will be discovered...
This is what I have salvaged, though some of it is still relatively recent: Download Link ~10MB
