Hey peeps,
If you didn't know Google Voice will take voicemails and generate text from them. Here's how good they are at it in a message that I left a friend of mine:
Hey Mark. It's, Clarke, it's like 430 now on Wednesday. Why don't you give me a call before when you know that you can you over here because I just got out at meetings and I'm probably going to be. Gregory Lexar so, but I'll get a hold the Aldus go and you can come and I'll tell you when Jordan also want to come, so we'll see what I've heard that you, I will suck to you soon hopefully. Bye bye.
I didn't say that last part

Hey all,
So I just was in the elevator of my dorm and a postit that had my fucking bank account numbers on it had fallen out of my wallet and someone stickied it to the wall. Holy fuck!
Anyone know what you can do with account numbers and a routing number?

And I'm going to tell you why.
A lot of users have recently started using inequalities in their post. For instance, "Being a member of TL does NOT make you a good SC player." Notice the not in saying that the field on the left and the field on the right are unequal.
Now, I continualy see people using two equal signs and a forward slash to represent not equal. That is ugly and wrong and if you do it then you are lame. Use "!=" to represent not equal.
Have a Good Day!

I think you guys are the only people that could possibly enjoy this oddity of an event.
Back story stuff: *I go to the Evergreen State College * I'm an RA (I know what's going on with clubs and events on campus usually) * I play SC (duh)
Okay so I'm walking around campus and I see these signs for an SC club. There's one that's got Kerrigan's head on it from SC1 and one that's the blue Marine smoking the cigar in the spacesuit from SCII concept stuff. Advertisement reads:
Starcraft Club: Monday-Wednesday-Friday 5-9 PM C-Dorm
Sounds intense right? And I'm thinking, "I've never met anyone from TL at school but maybe they like know about proleague and ICC and go to GG.net or something. Here's where I start to lol:
Bring some CDs in case people don't have CD Keys.
So now I'm thinking "Noobs. Don't know about the ICC download, probably don't know about ICC, probably are noobs."
So Disappointing!
Now, here's the interesting part. I look at the contact name and realize that the name sounds familiar. I ask a friend of mine and it turns out that the kid went to my high school and graduated out a year early. So then I'm like oh weird right? And then I'm looking at the roster for the school...and he doesn't go here.
This guy is 60 miles from home starting a inter-dorm starcraft club. Pretty fuckin weird!
PS Dude if you read this website go to wiki.teamliquid.net and train these kids to be pro!

I'm only going to come out and say it, There are only two important ranks on ICC: first and last. No other rank describes your skill of SC effectively. Hackers and abusers aside, here are some things to take into consideration before you try and hop pu the ladder half way.
First and Formost: FakeSteave fucking owns. You know it, I know it. What's his rank on ICC? D-ish. Does that mean that me and FS are on the same level? Absoutely not. FS would destroy on me at SC, be it talking, playing, commentating, knowing battle.net commands, etc.
Second: Cheese. You could only cheese and probably get so dialed in to bunker rushing that you could play at a much higher ranking then if you had to learn how to play builds. When I was working on the bunker rush article for Liquipedia I just did it like 30 times versus the computer (no interwebz) and my APM broke 200 without spamming. Not to say that the computer compares to people but you get the idea.
Third: Who'd you play? Because of the way these things work by an odd set of coincidences you could rocket your way to the top pretty quick if you just ran into noobs.
I'm trailing off here, I'm just angry that we lost people in the community for a number and a letter that don't mean anything. ITS NOT WoW! THE SCORE DOESN"T REFLECT YORU TIME INVESTMENT.
/End rant

Go play Age of Empires 2 with your noob friends. I just noob bashed the coldest and it was quite the satisfying. As my best friend described it, "you can't play like you play Starcraft."
lolz good timez

So I have a Dell box that was running Vista that I sort of moved off of when I got home this summer from school. After use by my brother the Computer ran hot for a very long time (like the heatsync came unglued from the processor) and proceded to blue screen itself into oblivion. Worrying that all of my media and school work would be lost I tested memory and hard disks, look for a weak link. However my work proved fruitless and I thought all to be lost. I have now however managed to boot into Ubuntu AMD-64 from a live Cd and can see all of my hard disk stuff. Yay!
time to run rsync
Me 1, Microsoft 0.

Hey Peeps,
So myself and my friend wanted to do some WoW free trials and long story short one of us has the whole game client and one of us is streaming the game trough the free trial service. Problem is we can't see each other even though we are on the same Realm. Any ideas why not?

So I work for King County Metro right now doing Computer Science stuff. Well by work I mean I come here (at work right now) and they don't pay me.
So at any rate I was here last week and talking to my boss and I couldn't help but draw the not being paid parallel to working on the wiki. So I'm like "yeah boos I also have this job for this Starcraft website." And my boss is all like "oh Starcraft? Yeah I know what that is."
As popular as SC is I'm always surprised when people in their 30s and 40s who don't game know about it. Crazy stuff?
This was a Twitter quality blog post.
