Honestly it is not so bad living under Spanish rule. Taxes are fair, the Government changed to a Republic not so long ago, and we are more advanced Militarily, Industrially, as well as Philosophically than any other nation on Earth.

You should be proud to be a citizen of such an empire. But no, I get word of riots, worker strikes, and rebellions every other turn. What is wrong with you people. London may have fallen but Ireland, and Scotland have not, and Queen Mary still has control of the colonies. We are weak in America after a 40 year long war with the Cherokee Nation in which we just manged to grab control of Florida again before a peace was established. Texas has yet to be conquered. The Mediterranean Sea has to be pacified, the Barbary states are still active with one city which fell to our soldiers now in rebellion! The Empire is is on a tight rope with the Ottomans, war is only a matter of time.

But right now we are at War with the Prussians and it is not going well. Brandenburg has fallen but with our forces having to put down trouble makers in the Rhineland, the region of Silesia has fallen to our enemies. Saxony has yet to fall even at the cost of about 4000 soldiers. East, and West Prussia have yet to be fought over. Vienna, and Hungary are defenseless.

Shape up citizens. War is tough. But your riots, strikes, and rebellions cost money as well as Soldiers which could be used to fight our enemies and expand control of what is rightfully ours.

When the writers have little to no material so they use Meg a joke to get things rolling. We get it.

The fact that I can guess when the "remember when/this is like" means others can as well. And what the fuck is up with all the rape jokes, seriously? Is this what the show has come to just rape, drugs, and domestic abuse jokes?

Okay I am a video game nerd. But I'm sure it was a silly jab at Cryptic but still it pisses me off. You can hear the comment near the 6:09 mark.



First and foremost let's not forget this game was first created by Cryptic so those fans need to shut up. So "There is no other super hero MMO!" dude, remember that. Also the graphic enhancements, shadows, reflections and so forth. Have been around for several years. Oh joy camera movement as well.... Not to mention it has nothing to do with gameplay. Champions Online has, in my opinion, tons more customization, especially when it comes to the mech type of costumes, or even demonic. The game even, IMO, has much more fluid gameplay especially when the I can roll, tumble etc.

As one player points out, "Matt Miller is responsible for the positron task force. Who's the clown here?."

But whatever props to having cool looking renders finally. I would be excited yet I am busy playing the other superhero MMO. Douchecanoes.

Ethics class began Thursday and I as well as several others were sold the wrong books, so of course the Book store does not have any in stock and to check back next week. I checked again today in hopes that they could hold one for me, nope they haven't arrived and I need to read the first two chapters. I figure I will enjoy the subject but the one thing that saps the energy and enjoyment out of the class is that it is 2 hours and 45 minutes long. After which I usually have to go straight to work.

Work. The area which I work in got a different supervisor a couple of months ago. Since then he has steadily been bringing his, I guess you could call them friends, over to where he now works. They are the biggest rednecks, and dumb fucks one could imagine. And for some strange reason they now get sort pay, even though only one of them is has sorted before. One doesn't even know how to close out a bag correctly, the other can't tell what bin is which unless looking at the actual label and even then they all scan the wrong packages. And the seniority system really pisses me off when the supervisor is not at work or has the day these fucks will use the seniority system to bump me others to the trailers and have friends sort so they don't have to work. It infuriates me to no end.

English. I just hope I do well in this class that way I can get to work knocking out the rest of my classes for my major next semester. Next semester I will really need to get my ass in gear, maybe even have to do a quick summer stint.

I think my car is on it's last piece of shit leg. I can no longer put it into 4 wheel drive if I do it makes a sound which I can only describe as that of an airplane. That and I have to literally fight it to keep it centered. As of today the car is worth $1,250.00 I have put around $3,000.00 in repairs and the replacement of parts. The car is getting worse.

CCP owes me 10 bucks which I will apparently see in a couple of days. Currently in Eve I am pushing towards the maxing out of some skills I need to get certificates, but it is always a bore because I always feel for that amount of time I am not advancing or getting better. My one man war is on hiatus but I plan to start again soon now that I am part of a new corp and in the alliance of Primary again.

Awesome video, I just love how Yale uploads public lectures. They seem to have added some more videos, not sure how many though. But I really enjoyed this one most, I sure as hell don't understand the loads of Math at the start but still.

And it has all happened in the last 3 hours. I turn on my desktop and the screen goes fucking insane so much that I can't see what is showing and then the computer enters power saving mode which it won't come out of unless I reboot. Then history just repeats itself. As of right now the computer is FUBAR. All my homework is on that computer which is just fucking great.

Then I learn CCP is for some reason taking money from my account for services that have never been done.

Split reason is pissing me off.

I need to come up with $245.11 before 5pm tomorrow as well as the next 6 months.

AND THIS GOD DAMN LAPTOP IS PISSING ME OFF!! I TYPE AND AT RANDOM I AM TYPING IN OTHER PARTS OF THE SENTENCE FUCKING IT UP EVEN MORE SO!

I have to get ready for work.

For the past hour I have been working on my latest essay that is due Thursday, and I am working on the last portion of it which is the works cited page. Luckily I have a book called The Little, Brown Handbook.

Modern Language Association is covered on chapter 47 of the book, and even though I'm sure there is a more recent edition I am just amazed at the level of detail that MLA is covered. Take for example, work cited models, it has 67 examples alone which cover Books, Periodicals, Electronic sources, and Other print and non-print sources. As well as an additional 71 pages that cover graphs, and go into detail of each area such as Journals, and Magazines which would be under Periodicals, it also covers paper positioning and so forth. I can only imagine what else has been added if there is indeed a more recent edition(s).

I wonder if the Modern Language Association headquarters in New York has someone constantly evaluating and adding rules, regulations etc.

I swear it seems like last week it was September and warm outside, then it was fall and here I am sitting at the computer realizing that October is half way over with. This is my particular favorite due to Halloween but it seems I have had seldom time to enjoy that as well this year. I guess that is what happens when my entire life is basically just work, and school. It is times like this when I feel like life is passing me by, that may or may not be the case. But damn if this year hasn't been going by quickly. Before long it will be 2010, and a whole new year will begin. I don't want to see that year go by in a flash and be back in the same spot all over again.

After this semester I need to seriously think of way to go on a vacation, after peak season is over and done with I will have two weeks paid vacation and maybe, just maybe, I can manage to go and see Gettysburg. It would be nice to see it seeing how the last time I was there I could not have been over 12 years old.

If there is one thing this year has taught me is that I need to do what scares me, whether that be traveling alone or even going down to see the Ocean during the weekend, and though I may not see Europe for some time that should not stop me from seeing the country that I live in. All I have to do is go one step at a time. If I want something bad enough I have to work hard enough to get there.

But god damn it seems it has a helluva lot more writing assignments that can bore me to death. A 15 page writing assignment that relates to this chapter. I have a paper in mind but damn if my mind doesn't just stop short when I am trying to write said paper.
