I will be leaving later today for Guangzhou, China. I will stay there for a bit more than 2 weeks, then head of for an event I have been looking forward to for the past year - the Beijing Olympics 08.

I have tickets to the quarterfinal, semi, and final of the men's soccer and I can not wait.

This is my first time watching soccer at a stadium and just thinking about the excitement makes me rock hard, to quote Will Ferrell, "as if a lightning bolt struck the tip of my penis."

Anyway I will be taking as many pictures as possible and if anyone is interested I will share them.

If anyone from TL will be there let's fucking meet up, look for me in a TL T-shirt!

That's all for now; I hope to update this as time passes.

edit: btw, I will be stopping at the seoul international airport, please tell me if I will be able to purchase some SC gear.

For those of you who have been who have read my blogs and wonder to yourself, " Gee, I wonder if Titusmaster6 has gotten a new comp yet."

The answer is YES!!!!

That's right, after 5 months and 11 days, I have a new computer. After 5 months of no porn, I can now watch porn. After 5 months of no Broodwar, I am now back.

This is a great day in my life. Since I'm close to my 1000th post, I would also like to take this time to thank TL.net. I only discovered this site last June so I'm both a newb and noob. But during my visit to this great community, I have learned not only so much about SC, but about other stuff as well. There are a lot of intelligent people on TL whose posts have really educated me. I only wish I could write more meaningful posts and help others whenever I can.

Enough pussy talk. Basically, thanks to the staff, thanks to people who make me laugh, thanks for the photos, news, and interviews, and vods. You guys are great.

Off to my first comp stomp...

After all my work in high school, after nearly 4 years of taking it up the butt, it's all over. I am going to college. I want to write this blog not becuase of what my test scores are or where I got into college, but because I just want to write down my experience.

In November, I applied to 7 schools: 4 UC, Princeton, Wash U., and Rice. Since I'm considered in-state for UC, I figured getting into UC Santa Cruz would be 100%. So I made all my other schools reach schools. BAD DECISION.

When March 15th was drawing near, I got more and more nervous because I was scared of "what if." What if I didn't get into Santa Cruz? then my chances of other schools would literally be close to nil.

1 a.m. March 15th, I go to the computer, login into MyAdmission UC Santa Cruz and click "application status."
I read, "We regret to inform you that UC Santa Cruz can not offer you admission for the 2008 fall quarter."

FUCK

FUCKIDDI FUCK FUCK

I remeber feeling so empty, so lost for hope. I went to bed really surprised at what had happened. I had always thought Santa Cruz was a sure shot, a "safety," but now that's gone. I told myself to stay positive, that there are still 6 schools to go.

On Monday, I broke the news to all my friends and they were all shocked as hell. People encoouraged me however, which was good.

I went home that day anxious to check UC Davis. I log on after some technical difficulty...
"Congratulations......." that was all I read; that was all I needed. I breathed easy and all was right.

It's funny looking back at it because Davis was the only school that accepted me. It's strange how as long as no one takes you, you feel so nervous, but as long as one school accepts you, you feel a world different.

I have also learned a few things from this experience. I learned that when applying for a job or school, you never know what they want. It is purely subjective. The school or job you "know" you will get just might be the one that rejects you. On the other hand, the one you thought was unlikely or impossible might appear very possible indeed.

This isn't a thrilling tale or inspiring tale such as the story of a certain royal roader, but I feel it is really one of the most important times of my life.

In any case, I'm glad my college decision wasn't exactly hard since only one school accepted me.

I wish all seniors this year luck in their college acceptance and/or happiness on where they decide to go. I'm glad I had both.

First of all, if you are knowledgable about this issue, PLEASE help me!

I don't know what happened but two days ago, my computer got like a virus and it is now seriously fucked up. I can't access the Internet, clicking on Firefox says "This application has failed to start because js3250.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." and IE just opens up a blank page. I get Windows Security Alerts. I can't do system restores, and when I try to access certain programs, it says "This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator."

The only thing I have ever needed to do was system restore, but now I can't do that. I'm scared of telling my parents atm and I hope someone at TL can help me solve my problem before I have to tell them? I have also tried to re-install Windows XP, don't know if that helps, but it says I can't because my current version of Windows is newer than the one on the cd. And my PC is a Dell Dimension 8400 and I got it 2005.

In my English class, we have started Milton's Paradise Lost. If I am not mistaken, it (along with Dante's Inferno) is a mandatory read for seniors.

I have started reading it but simply can not concentrate long enough to understand or stay with the archaic peotic prose of Milton. I realize that these books we must read in school are chosen for a reason, but I can't help but feel cheated in a way because I am missing all the current books written for what some blind man fantasizes to be the best epic poem ever written. It isn't just Milton that all of sudden caused this feeling of frustration, it's all the other archaic writtings that I've had to read because they are "classic." I have no problem with the contents of these books, but I just feel that we should be reading current books too because school curriculum makes me think that all the books written currently are inferior to Shakespeare, Milton, or Thoreau. I strongly disagree. Just because most current authors do not write with all of this symbolism/allusion bullcrap that teachers seem to find orgasmic pleasure from, doesn't mean that their ideas are not worthy of classroom time.

I'm not saying that the classics shouldn't be read at all, but I want to be exposed to the writing of the day also. And I realize that I could just go to Sparknotes and just read the synopsis, but then as nerdy as it sounds, that would completely destroy the purpose of being exposed to the classics. I'm just frustrated that English teachers in general are so excited about these books but they never promote current authors.

Now I have to go do my French project on Matisse. Dam.

Wow, I just got tickets to three matches of soccer at the Olympics next year. The quaterfinal, semi, and final!

I have been waiting for this for years, seriously counting down the days since like 1000 days until the Beijing Olympics.

Is anyone else from TL going?

This is so amazing I could pee out a marble or crap a cantaloupe. Boo ya!

Hey guys I am doing a research project on religion for my English class, and my religion is Confucianism. I'm having serious trouble finding any legitimate sites and was hoping someone could help me if they know any good sites or books. Specifically, I need information on: 1. core beliefs, 2. its history, 3. view of death, 4. symbols, 5. views on evil and sin, 6. important structures and art, 7. conclusion on the value of the individual life.

I don't expect anyone to do my project for me, but any help in any of those areas is greatly appreciated. Of course, if anyone on tl is actually Confucian and would allow me to ask them questions then that would be awesome.
