so my latest attempt to get my stream verified ended with this:
New, inactive or small channel: The quantity of recorded / uploaded content on your channel is not developed enough to meet livestream.com publishing / editorial requirements. Please don't hesitate to re-submit when your channel grows. To re-submit your application, please address any issues above before following the verification link from your 'My Channels' page. In the meantime, we hope you will continue to enjoy the Livestream Free service for your unverified channel. Thank you.
so in about 50 minutes (13:30 TL/Korean time) I'm going to be doing live sc recording on my livestream channel. But instead of doing the usual fpvods, I'm going to observe pub games on iccup and try my best at commentating them.
I'll post a link to the stream when the time comes near. If you want to play in a game, feel free to. The only requirement is that you know the map. I may use some obscure maps so if you can, please refrain from joining if you don't know the map. I'm going to be the only observer to reduce lag.
edit: here's the link to the stream http://www.livestream.com/darrenc still gonna start in 25 minutes (have some homework I have to do)
I probably wouldn't post this if my opponent wasn't Korean and didn't have "[Name]" in his name, not that I really think he's in [Name] but maybe he is...
ok so I've been asked this numerous times when I tell someone I play SC and I'm decent at it: "what rank are you?" or "are you ranked?"
now obviously, someone like me can't answer that since I'm not a progamer or a top foreigner so I explain that there really isn't a ranking for people like us. But sometimes they won't take that for an answer
so I think about it and eventually say that I'm around top 1000 in the US. Is that a good estimate for C player? Would it more like top 500? Top 2000? Top 10,000?
not the noob parts, but the solo (which I guess is a little less noob)
any tips on getting down the fast bending section? I'm a little bit slow on that part (to be more specific, the notes in between the bends). Or will it just come down to practicing more?
oh yeah I've decided to just copy what this guy does
I'm pretty sure I distinctly remember holding down alt once and seeing all the health bars of the units. Then also accidentally hitting [ or ] and health bars would show up also
I just won a Wii from Red Baron Pizza (www.redbaronpromotions.com) on my first try. This brings my win count to two, as I won a Flip Video Camera from facebook a little over a year ago. My roommate won an iPhone last year in a contest from somewhere I forgot.
I think it'd be kinda cool to try to learn Korean. But I feel it's kind of wrong since I don't even have a decent grasp of my native language: Chinese. It's like, if I'm going to spend time learning a language, shouldn't it be my native language? I can understand basic Chinese conversation, I just have trouble speaking it. I also have the reading/writing skills of a 1st grader (I'm in college now ^_^)
