So for the past 2 nights I have been playing Left4Dead for like 6 hours at a time with some clan mates. I learned some cool stuff from them that I wanted to share with the TL community. I'll add pictures later when I'm not on a work computer.
1: Bypass an event completely on Ch. 3 The Sewer
When you come out of the little diner towards the open back lot with the explodable gas station, don't run towards the event lift. Instead, you can go to the far back corner towards lifty gate thing. Its to the left of the back of the first semi truck (kind of confusing, I'll add pics later). Melee it while one person stands guard and it will break open.
2: How to kill tanks ridiculously fast (if you're in the open)
When the tank music plays, make sure someone has a molotov and move your whole party to a corner in plain sight where the tank is going to come through. When you see it, throw the molotov because the fire damage is the main factor in its death. But in that corner it can only attack one of you at a time, so just blast away at it and it will die fairly quickly. Auto weapons will kill it in like 7 seconds, its hilarious. This corner tactic works a lot better than just running around because the rest of the infected will interfere with you putting damage on the tank.
3: Better places to post up during events or end game events
There are better places for your party to post up when the event is activated. For example in Chapter 2: Subway, when you come across the area with the minigun and event gate, and you're staring directly at the gate look 90 degrees to your left and you'll see a corner that has pipes covering an exposed side. get in here and have 2 people meleeing at all times so hunters and smokers can't to anything. Just look for small corners or areas where boss infected can only attack in at one or 2 directions
This is all I could think of on the spot, and feel free to share knowledge of your own!
I come home everyday from school to find shit thrown apart all over my room, clothes tossed here, papers thrown there, random articles and shit littered about the floor and what not, and all for what? Because she found weed in her own loser son's room when he was high school and kicked him out?
No, fuck that shit. I run cross country and track, make decent grades and hang out with great people. I do not deserve to deal with this bull.
She claims she just goes through everything to see that its all neat and tidy, but I know what you want, you psycho. GUESS WUT YOOR NOT GETTING IT.
I swear to god when I turn 18 I'm going to by a gram of cocaine and gently sprinkle it about my room, just out of spite.
Oh, and if you happen to access this blog like that other poor kid that made that other blog dissing his mother, I apologize for any previous insults you may have read in this blog, and take a fucking hint that I am not a drug pothead loser like your own spawn.
Bisu Highlight, probably the best I've ever seen, credit to nevake for upload and leafsnowx. But I as wondering about a song that starts at about 4:55 to about 8 min
Well, at approximately 9:30 this morning, my wisdom teeth were pried from the mouth that has been their home for 18 years. It was a pretty strange experience, because I didn't know what to expect. Pain? Drug induced euphoria? Death? Regardless of those feelings, I knew I was in for a shitty time.
So after sitting in that waiting room for about a half an hour, trying to interest myself with the latest issue of a golf magazine, the lady calls me back and sits me down in this room. Okay, so far so good, I'm thinking to my self. No chainsaw-like tools in sight, and this lady seems pretty nice.
So the doctor comes in and puts in the IV and we start making small talk about my schools cross country team, we got 12th at state, blah blah, then
I was home in bed, and my mouth was bleeding so hard I thought they replaced it with a hormonal vagina. No pain yet, but the numbness is wearing off, and I sense a rough time. How did you guys cope with getting wisdom teeth pulled?
update: my dad wont get me perscription painkillers. fuck my life.
update2: I love advil. no seriously, i want to get married to it. i want to raise a little advil family in a little advil suburb and send them off to a little advil school and then become an alcoholic and divorce my advil wife and beat my advil children and- wait shit nvm, my dad got me perscription! yay!
But I can't, because I just got cannon rushed 3 games in a row. I really understand why Protoss is the gayest race ever (this is coming from a P user).
Just got back from a Horse the Band show, and all I can say is wow. By far the best band I've seen live. They are absolutely hilarious. At one point this girl threw up her skanky tube top shirt to the stage and nathan(i think thats his name) took off his shirt and put it on and sang the rest of the set.
Cutsman breakdown= SICK. definitely recommend seeing them if you like this kind of music
yay horse the band is coming to Backbooth in Orlando tomorrow!! finally i get to see this band. But the negative is that i have cross country practice that day (possibly 1000m repeats ew) and im very close to getting into my top 7! people would be angry if i skipped, teamates included... but i reallly want to see them lol.
This Thursday is the 1st ever assembly for my Starcraft school! I can't wait! I'm hosting a tournament between 8 kids who told me they are showing up, and will compete for the measly 40$ I'm putting up as a prize. The winner gets to play me :D
I told them no fastest maps or BGH, anything else is fine. When the meetings become more frequent I will introduce them to the popular maps as well as new MSL and OSL maps.
I'm really curious of the skills some of these kids might posses, because there are 2 of them I don't know that well.
Anyways, just wanted to let you guys know, and feel free to throw out any suggestions to make this experience more enjoyable!
edit: I'll try to remember my camera so I can get some pictures up lol
Yes, you did read this blog title correctly. I am starting a "starcraft school", held in my web 3 teachers back room with the computers we built the previous year out of his spare parts. I've spread the word around a couple close friends and some acquaintances about coming around after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays so I can teach them the real wonders of Starcraft.I managed to interest about 3-4 kids so far, but I really want more to be there.
I was thinking about introducing them to the Korean scene first, to show them the influence and power this game holds. Then show them some 1st person VODS to show them how the game should be played. Maybe an introductory test to gauge their knowledge... I really have no idea yet. The one thing I was sure of was putting out a date for a tournament and offering a small cash prize (maybe 40$-50$) to get more people interested. This would also allow me to see how good everyone is.
Anyway, I just wanted to put this out there and see if you guys would like to offer some ideas on how I should go about teaching them.
