It's been a while since TSL qualifiers have ended, and I am happy to say that I've progressed a long way from then.
Having returned to my original account, I sought to better myself as a Terran player. Although I've only played D's and D-'s, I still think I've come a long way from where I was before.
I've finally reached C-, so I guess I'm pretty proud of myself for that.
But more importantly, I've had to play alone forever now. Sure I have a few friends that play on Hamachi with me on weekends, but I think I'm way more into SC than them.
Finally, I managed to find a clan to play along with. Now I feel a bit less lonely. Tonight, I joined a new clan on iCCup: tS clan.
It makes me feel pretty thankful - thankful for the existence of such great communities like TeamLiquid, that organize great events like TSL, and really turn the game of Starcraft into something that everyone can share much more. I think I'm enjoying this game more and more.
I hope things will only go up from here - I'll get to play more within the community and better myself, and everyone else I play with.
Although...
I do suck. =D

I'm fairly new here, so I thought I'd share some of my Starcraft experiences.
I have been playing Starcraft seriously for a while now, so when season 7 of iCCup started, I decided to give it a try, under the name of iD)Faiyth_. This was back in March Break, then.
I've been playing Protoss forever, and I was used to dominating over my school friends, who found it really tiring to play with me. But they weren't like me, since I always had the mentality that I wanted to get better, while they just wanted to play for fun. So I figured I'd switch races to Terran, so that they can have an easier time, while I learn a new race. At the same time, iCCup started. So I decided to try Terran on iCCup.
On my first day, I ended with an 0-8 record. Somehow, it didn't discourage me as much as I might have thought it would. Eventually, I climbed my way to 16-23.
Then, everything changed. TSL came along, the biggest event in Broodwar since.. forever. It inspired me to keep playing, and now I'm 10-14 under the name of 2hu. I also tried to play in the weekend tournament, and got my ass handed to me. Still..
Thanks Teamliquid, for this insanely successful event. You've rejuvenated the Starcraft community.
You've allowed me to improve tremendously, and even though I'm still losing the majority of my games, I feel like I'm getting there.
For now, my goal is to get into top 500 of TSL. Not sure if I can, though. And I must resist the urge to switch back to Protoss ><.
