I'm inspired by the blogs that have been up recently and a long time ago as well. I feel this is a little differnt because I'm one of the younger people at Teamliquid. And because of my innocence and my lovely outlook on the world I won't go too personal.

I've always loved Teamliquid because it's a time waster. All I do essentially when I get home from school is get home, go on TL.net, and play bass. I don't regret this cause now I'm pretty damn good. I play a few games of Starcraft, try and play World of Warcraft and just go back to bass with a failed attitude.

My school life is going pretty well. I'm in my first year of high school and so far it's going much better than my elementary school. I've learned lessons, do's and don'ts and came out a much more experienced person. There's one problem that I've been trying to keep low in high school that messed up my elementary years. Being a year younger than everybody else. I skipped a grade due to being mentally advanced than everybody. (That advantage has disappeared now :S) People would use that against me and ultimately led to everyone picking on the inferior child.

However I've grown up with that age so I act like that age. You wouldn't be able to tell that I was younger and so far in high school, it's not very known. As far as relationships go. No. Never had a girlfriend but I think that today's generation is trying too hard to grow up too quickly. I sub-concsiously do the same but I try not to.

If you haven't known, I am Christian and I'm proud. I'm not Christian cause I was born Christian. (However True) I was raised but one day, it just made sense to be Christian. I undersand what it means to be a Christian. I am a true follower of God. Not a boy with a Christian family who was told to be.

There's my basic life. I hope that was the most un-needed, poorly structured, unfascinating thing you've ever read that you'll forget within 10 hours. But if you got something out of th is. Maybe seeing the outlook of the world from a young child, then good for you.

I was reading the automaed ban list (I was bored) and I saw that Hot_bid banned 3 people and his reasons for each was along the lines of "Dino Fan." I want an explanation.!!!

This frustrates me because in TL.net it's like a communism.

If you're new you're poor. If you're a veteran you're rich (metaphorically of course) and virtually untouchable.

And if you're mainfesto you're a demi-god.

I truly truly hate with a passion those guys who are like 1v1 game D only when they end up to be D+ C- and just trying to raise their ranks.

The past 2 games I've played were both players playing me, a D and they were both either C- or C+ and I HATE IT!!!! I WANT TO PLAY PEOPLE MY OWN LEVEL INSTEAD OF BEING BUMPED TO D- BY PEOPLE 3 TIMES BETTER THAN ME!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was talking with someone on B.NET and I lag ALOT and he asked questions to figure out my problem and then "diagnose" me with Bad Lag.

Bad Lag: Often caused in patients With weak or wireless internet connections. Renders them unable to play in games with more than 3 players at a time. Also lags alot in games.

Treatment: Wired Connection is the only cure known by me. I am also researching (AKA asking you guys) Other cures that are easy.

Effects: Causes the annoying response in capital letters "LAG" and may be followed by the opponent leaving the game within the first 2 minutes. Bad Lag syndrome severely limits the player in Micro capabilities due to the connection being raised to Extra High Latency and also due to skipping. Also causes a lack of decent games due to players leaving quickly and early in the game.

Side Effects: Side effects often include the following: Broken mouses, Smashed keyboards, Cracked Monitors, Damage to the throat, Dented Walls, Keyboard Related Scars, and General Loudness.

Well it seriously screw up my mass gaming and has forced me to download BWAI 2.0 and just to play something similar to a game on ICCUP and I really don't know how to get my health back. It has destroyed my [Brood War] Life and I can no longer mass game. Please help me!

Hey. I've been playing bass for about 8 months now and I'm getting into funk. I listen to and play heavy metal however the bass lines are quite similar. So good songs would be like RHCP and stuff like that.

Ahhhh.. The dilemma I'm constantly faced with. I'm going to write this blog in a format of a paragraph or 2 for the races. I like both races just some qualities I like about some races, and other's I like about the others

Terran:
I think it's my favorite race but I'm not sure. I love Terran vs Protoss and I've understood Terran vs Terran. It's Terran vs zerg that gets to me. I don't know how to beat them. Once I get a sizeable ball of forces they go out, and forced back in by the masses of the swarm. And my macro is not bad for a D player. It's my lurker micro. I try to put as much emphasis on macro as possible but something about it just makes life difficult. If I want to win in TvZ I need to micro more.

Now to Terran vs Protoss: I love it. Every part. I love the beginning micro against Zealot harasses, Goon harass, then I love macroing and pushing out with a large 200/200 force of troops realizing they started getting carriers. I love the "OH CRAP!!" factor and I love microing Goliaths. Oh man I love it.

Terran vs Terran I like because it's alot like chess and it's the matchup where I like to use a lot of different openings also the fact that it's bassed on skill and strategy.

Zerg:
Zerg vs Protoss. I love it. I seem to love to crush Protoss. But I like the masses of units where you often lose a handful to one good storm only to have macro'd a much larger amount with all your expos. That's another thing, I really like the macro aspect of zerg. It's just so much fun building so many units that you can barely control. It's just so much fun

Zerg vs Terran is alot of fun but I find it quite hard. However I like the start of mutas annoying the hell out of the Terran and flying in doing as much damage only ro later switch to lurkers which totally decimate the opponent. The end game I like the Ultra-ling with plague and dark swarm mixed in. It's so much fun but so difficult. However I try, usually fail, but I always lose the game feeling I've done good.

Zerg vs Zerg: I hate it I hate it I hate it. It's probably the only matchup stopping me from becoming a zerg. I feel like no matter what I can't win. I always feel like I should stick to one race and I've already considered playing Terran vs Zerg and sticking with zerg. But I like the other Terran matchups so much.

So my dilemma is that I like both races, I just don't like playing vs Zerg. They're really frustrating. I really like Terran but everytime I lose I go " You know zerg is alot of fun too" and so I play as zerg for a while. But that just severely slows down my learning. Giving me an immense amount of trouble trying to climb the ranks. Not that I would climb anyway. I really don't know what to do or how to do this. So I seek you're help Teamliquid. I need guidance. The answer is probably obvious I just can't see it.

I have always been confused about the avatars, like the SCV's, Tanks, DT's in the pictures in the name. I thought those little avatars beside your name grew higher as you made more posts but some people like ilikestarcraft have a lot of posts and still have an SCV, it's really confusing. COuld anyone clarify this?

Doesn't matter what skill level you are, I'm up for games on ICCUP, it can be fun, OR you can give me rough advice on how to improve, I must embrace mass gaming. So I shall. I'll be on for a bit, starting from 8:30 EST. whisper FreeDoM[YA] on ICCUP and I'll play. I'm D- MINUS ( embarassing)
