Here's a grudgematch game I played versus the dude in the title who has a name I can't spell.

Here's the link to the game; I b-a'd his assim early on, he got me with a proxy med/firebat/marine group which I wasn't ready and nearly won (he probably would've if he hadn't pulled scv), but event I expo, macro, attack and win.

"Heyyyyyy, yeah, nexus 1-3 isn't so bad. If you use mouse to build the probe, then it doesn't matter what hotkey the nexus is. If you use your nexus hotkey to center around your nexus (like hitting 11) then it doesn't matter what hotkey probe is. Besides, let's assume that most of the time, your left hand is on the left side of the keyboard. So when you decide to build a probe, you go "move hand to the right" --> "hit 0" --> "hit p" --> "move hand to the left". I would go "hit 1" --> "move hand to the right" --> "hit p" --> "move hand to the left". So whenever you only have 1 nexus hotkeyed, it doesn't make a difference. And for more than 1 nexus hotkeyed, I prefer "hit 1" --> "click" --> "hit 2" --> "click" --> "hit 3" --> "click". This might be a fraction of a second slower than 0p9p8p, but if you take into account that my hand stays to the left, in its default position, the whole time, I prefer mine. Also, having your 3 nexuses hotkeyed 1 2 3 makes it easy to go 11 22 33 to check everything, and to make your probes collect when they've finished building.

and yeah, I realize that using F2 F3 F4 counters some of the arguments of using 11 22 33, etc, but they don't resolve everything. And also, my system frees F2 F3 F4 for other things."

Summary: Nony clicked to build probes! (and while I say he newb, somehow he was still quite gosu back then; I'm assuming he's not doing this now, but I havn't checked his rep hotkeys recently).

That's the thread. Excellent hotkey posts by none other than the storm observer tasteless. I'm prob c level iccup, but his posts and general thoughts on efficient hotkeying have made me change my style and I'm losing to Ds-_-

Game 1. An ugly PVZ. He gets lings in my base because I'm dumb, and I panic as he kills probes. When all seems lost, and my sense of time says he should have a spire going up and 5 sunks w/ evo blocking, I give him the gosuface. His spire explodes, his lair morphs down to a hatch, and my zealots get a phantom +1. I run him over.

The above is game 2. Again, he does his 9pool BS, no doubt expecting me to early expo. But early expos are for bitches. Gosuface doublegates, oldschool, 2002 STYLE PVZ REPRESENT OG OG OG old gansta baby. Lings don't do shit, and I move out w/ some lots. He oversunkens (who can blame him, he fears the gosuface-_-??? dont you???), goes muts, can't do much with them, and never gets expo number 3. I make one mistake when I see guardians and try to counter. But since he's playing off 2 bases, he can't do shit.

Game 3, he realizes I've completely SOLVED his zerg game, so he switches to PVP. I'm not sure of the exact timing, but I vastly overestimate my advantage after I stop his reaver thinking it was a 1 base all in, and seeing he didn't get his natural for so long. But he ends up at some point getting the python island. Almost overruns me at one point, but I stick in, hold him, and show him why NO SPEED ZEALOTS ARE GOSUFACES SIGNATURE PLAY. They do > carriers, after all.

I just finished a Halloween viewing of this great movie. Buy the DVD, go to ovguide then megavideo it, I don't care. You guys have to watch this movie; watch it again if you already have.








People who have watched this movie will know why I'm doing it. And it's a testament to how fucking great it is that I'm actually making this blog post. Goddamn I'm a pussy.

But seriously, how much word of mouth must've this movie got at midnight after a group of people stumbled out of the theater scared shitless. Just an overall brilliant movie which is its own awesome inherent marketing campaign. Just sick.

Who the heck is the [Wo]man inside the every terran building? When you click on any terran building, there's some freak half-[Wo]man, half-robot with tubes connected to his/her/its head and gears spinning around him/her/it (it's the animated portrait under "menu").

WHO IS [Wo]MAN (ROBOT?? [BOTH??])??



Oh wait... when you click on a zerg building you see a big eye. I'm guessing that's the Zerg overmind. And that controls all the Zerg (at least in vanilla).

So that thing must control the Terran.

WHAT THE FUCK IS IT???

Hmmm helper robot... but is it ever mentioned in the story like the zerg/terran portrait which is used when you click on buildings?

I just downloaded some replays, and I realized that the replay bar ruins the suspense of a replay.

I want an option to turn it off. Blizzard, patch this.
