Don't you hate it when your trapped with a sociopath who cannot sing but either thinks he can, or doesn't care that he can't? It's even worse when they think they can sing and don't even know the lyrics. Has anyone else ever been trapped in a car with a douche like that? Your favorite song comes on and your friend ruins it by screeching " A fresh too young tool, trying crash his microphone too young too, want to believe in my own type but it's too uncool"
On a side note sometimes I AM the obnoxious asshole. For some reason I've lately gotten into the habit of singing songs like "I Believe I can Fly" and doing stupid dances to it...in public...much to the embarrassment of all of my friends.
I know there's a lot of music blogs asking for recommendations and such...however, each of them are by different people with different tastes as mine. These are three songs I enjoy quite a bit...but I really don't know what they have in common. So of course I go to TL to tell me what kind of music I like... Because I don't know really. If anyone wants more songs, I'll post them. If anyone has individual songs they'd recommend post those too

What do you think about it?
My preliminary thoughts are: What is a felon? What is a democratic society? Why felons, and NOT misdemeanors?
I have a few arguments on both sides but I think I need more, or rather, could use more. So, since I know this site is full of intelligent people, what do you think? AFF: Marketplace of ideas (Theory by Mills that in order for society to advance everyone needs to have a say) There's little moral difference between some misdemeanors and some felonies
I got a homecoming date, and she's pretty. Well, at least too pretty for me. Not the most gorgeous girl ever, or even as pretty as some of you, but I'm an asian dweeb, so what can I do?
I smoked weed for the first time. I did not get high. I did however bring home two high girls, and my parents were home, so they sober faced. One was EXACTLY the SAME when high, which was really fucking weird. She's like "I'm so gone you guys" but really she walked normal, talked normal. It was odd. The other had red eyes until she put eye drops in and giggled like crazy. I was worried she'd blow everything but she didn't (and since said girl was my homecoming date also, I doubt that would go over well with my asian parents)
When we got home my brothers were playing SC vs each other, off race. I played one game while they watched and were annoying. Since I thought they were mad I was ignoring them for SC I just 5pooled on LT and won.
As for Band WE GOT A ONE! We qualified for state! We came in second versus good bands! We won our division! YAY! Its so much better than we could have hoped for. Now were going 2 1/2 hours away because "Bands south of us are better". A 2 hour bus ride...Now I love the people I sit near, but thats a long time on a hot, overcrowded, bus
EDIT: Oh wait i already told you guys about band in another blog. Oh well We are going away again, and really far away.
ALSO: We are facing our crosstown rivals tomorrow in football. Hope we keep The Bell (the trophy the winning side keeps for a year. Funny stories involving that abound)
So yeah, we went to our band competition yesterday. It was fun, except the field was a mess, the worst I have ever marched in by FAR. It had just rained, and the stadium was sort of a pit, so midfield, there were no hashmarks (which we use to guide ourselves) and hell, there were barely and yard lines. Despite this I thought we did well. Actually, I don't really know how everyone did, but i know the trombones did good, and no one in our band fell. We got a 1 (qualified for states) and placed first in our class. Unfortunately this was out of three bands, but both are bands that consistently beat us out in competitions, although our real goal is to qualify not beat the other bands.
Onto homecoming. A good friend of mine asked the girl I've like forever to homecoming, and she said yeah. I dunno why, but it bothers me some, and I am somewhat jealous. I feel quite petty, but yeah. Now everyone in the group I was gonna go with has a date (They were the two dateless ones), and I could get one, but probably not with a girl who I like that much. Or I could just not go. Decision's decision's

So uh, yeah I guess this is a real blog, about my life. It's not very exciting. Hmmm, well where to begin. I'm Asian American, a junior in high school, I'm 15 and my birthday is the 18th so I'm pretty damn excited about that.
I'm a pretty huge marching band geek, and we have a competition tomorrow which I will probably blog about then. If we can get a 1 we will go to states, and while I'm sure we eventually WILL get a 1, tomorrow it is fairly certain that we will get a 2.
The real reason I'm making this is because my friend just got arrested for smoking pot, and trespassing. She did not have anything on her, but she'll appear in court and all that jazz. I don't know what to do, what to say to her at all. I mean, I don't want to lecture her or anything, that's what her parents, and teacher's are for, but I'm still very worried about her, and want to say SOMETHING. I want her to have a future, not fuck it up in high school. So of course, I turn to teamliquid to help: what should I say to her? Anything at all?
Also: I went last two weeks without masturbating >_> For me thats a long time. UGH it was terrible
AGH I can't get to D+. Yeah I know I suck. I haven't dropped past 1600 in ages but i cant get over 2000 either. Ima go insane! just when i hit 1950 I go on a lose streak. T_T; EDIT: Needs more substance. So I just played on iccup again for the first time in a bit. Not a whole lot but a bit. I am currently at 1880 and I will try for D+ YET AGAIN later tonight after band. Should I cheat and have my brother help me out by telling me what to do? (He's a D level zerg but he knows a bit more about the game than me {PvT and PvZ)
I have a friend. Shocking, I know. Anyways he fancies himself a gamer, and I'm fine with that. We disagree on the point of a)who's better at games and b) whether console or pc is better. He doesn't have a ps3, but he has a Wii AND a 360. And an atari. Me? I own a computer, and a wii.
Anyways we play Soulcaliber and he is TERRIBLE. I have never even touched a 360 controller before yesterday and I crush him like a cheap beer can. When I start bringing up the fact that this probably means that PC gamers are better than console gamers, as he doesn't lose every match he plays online, then he starts to get all whiny. "Oh but I haven't played this in a while" "...I've never played this in my life. And I only played SC3 Once. And I didn't play SC2 much either" Its not like I'm really pro. My little brother kicks my ass at every goddamn video in existence, except PvP SCBW.
Anyways what do you think TL. Is PC or Console gaming better?
DISCLAIMER: Its not like I HATE console gaming; I enjoy it, it can be entertaining. But I think PC gaming requires as much or more skill.
All right what are your favorite foods you make at home? Does anyone have any ideas they think are good but they aren't sure? Post them here, and I'll try to try them (if I see something that doesn't look like it will poison me). One thing i wanna try is a burger with banana peppers, olives, and feta cheese...as nasty as it might sound. EDIT: I know the burger has probably been done but as I haven't had it...
