Hey, I've been pretty inactive on TL for the year or so since I've stopped following the SC2 pro scene as closely. I still watch some major tournaments and keep up with results, but no where near as much as before.

Finishing University, moving from Canada to the US, and getting a full time job also cut into my free time. Still, I've made a few drawings, and here they are.

More SC Drawings (Got a Tablet! :D)

So it has come to this. I ponied up 90 bucks and got myself a drawing tablet, and it's been a blast drawing with it so far. That's not the say I'm entirely abandoning mouse drawing, since I still find there are some things easier to do with a mouse than a tablet. But we'll see as I get more familiar with the tablet.

I seem to recall someone calling for a picture involving hydralisks and spid...

Hmm, for some reason I draw a lot of hydralisks. Here's the latest.

There was supposed to be a firebat in the background of this image shooting the stream of fire, but I couldn't find a way to draw it in without distracting from the Hydralisk.

Here's the original (messy) line work where you can see the firebat in the background:

Banshee + ASOIAF Drawings

Just posting some of the more presentable drawings I've done of late. I suppose I'm expanding the horizons of this blog by posting ASOIAF fan-art, but the series seems to be very popular in TL anyways.

The last image might be considered the teeniest spoilerish since it contains a character from the later books. View at your own peril?

All done by mouse (dat wrist pain), in SAI.

These two were done in SAI:

So, instead of sleeping on this fine Sunday morning, I've done some more drawings for this dusty blog. Hopefully you can make out who is who, but perhaps I flatter myself overmuch. Drawing is fun, anything to avoid hitting the ladder am I right?

So it appears that I'm on my 10,000'th post - thought to myself "Better not let this one be a one-liner in a live-report thread!" It's been quite a while since I last did one of these! Made this one in MSPaint using the mouse, as per usual.

I haven't updated this blog in almost 2 months, so I'll post some quick MSPaint sketches I've done in the interim, to clear up the cobwebs here.

I did most of these while listening to the State of the Game podcasts, since I don't like being idle while listening to something.

Schoolwork has been super busy though, so I haven't been able to work on anything more ambitious than a 20 minute s...

As usual, made in MSPaint, drawn by mouse.

I'm working on getting a tablet some time in the near future, but I've become so used to drawing with the mouse that I'm having second thoughts.

Done using windows7 MSPaint with mouse, using the oil paintbrush tool.

With the release of SC2 and the onset of exams, I've pretty much been neglecting drawing. But Zeratul was just so badass in his SC2 cutscene that I had to draw something. ~_-

The angle of the light is... wrong, but I liked how it turned out anyways.

Bonus sketch (contains spoilers from SC2 WoL campaign 'Fall of Haven' mission):

Vulture Drawing

I schedule from school has loosened up a bit for the next few weeks, so I've got more time for drawing =D

So, naturally I stayed up until 5am drawing. This time I used Gimp to create the picture, though, as always, I'm still using a mouse.

Drawing a terran vehicle was a nice departure from my previous 'organic' zerg and protoss subjects.

We will miss you dearly in SC2, Vulture~
