this "fail" phenomenon.

every time somebody says "fail" in real life I just want to inflict severe bodily harm either on myself or the person in question.

it's fucking terrible when there's some cool picture on the internet and some retard (probably a 17 year old scene girl) writes FAIL on it, EVEN WHEN IT'S ABSOLUTELY INAPPROPRIATE!

I mean, even when it first came out and was used "properly" it still wasn't very funny.

This tone reminds me of Killswitch Engage's "As Daylight Dies" album, just an unmastered version. Do you guys like this tone?

P.S. I know this music is FAR from groundbreaking and I know that we're not doing anything special production wise, basically me and a few friends were in a band like 3 / 4 years ago and had about 12 original songs that we're going to record now just for the memory's sake. Some of the best times

Changes since last time:
Messed around with the drums. Tried to make them a little more standout / powerful. Did some work with the kick / snare especially.

Messed around with the bass EQ. Made a cut around the high lows to remove some of the muddiness / boom.

No opinions on the riff / songwriting / playing needed. Opinions and feedback on the mix / sounds / tones desired.

If you want to be ESPECIALLY helpful compare this tone to bands such as: Unearth, Killswitch Engage, and As I Lay Dying because that's the sound I'm going for in a nutshell.

Sup guys. Just got a hold of some impulses "cab emulating software basically" and have been fucking around with them for a little while now. This is one of my old band's songs (minus vocals) that I just recorded using these impulses. Was after some feedback?

It's a pretty boring standard rock song haha, but I'm mostly looking for opinions on the actual mix. I can't decide whether the levels on the guitars / bass are right.
