Why the fuck do so many people just smurf and play against D?
Why are people who could easily play C+ with their 250 APM insist on newbbashing D games all the time?

I don't like the concept of games that you play for a few weeks and then just throw away. But it seems that the majority of games for the PS3 are like that.
The few games I have an interest in are: LBP (preordered) RE5 Nobi Nobi Boy (katamari guy making this) Flower Next game from Team Ico (shadow of colossus guys)
I also have some of the PSN titles that I thought were cool, but the problem is that nothing really sticks. Where I live, we have a communal PS3 as well. I bought a PS3 because I thought it might be something I would want to have in the long term. I don't have much time for the games, and they don't seem very replayable. If I sell it, I could potentially just play any game I buy on the shared PS3. But, when I move out, I won't have the PS3 for future games.
Would you guys just sell it and save the money for getting a new desktop when SC2/D3 comes around? Or would you keep it for the few times it would be used?

Since speculation is strictly off limits in the SC2 forum, I'll speculate here:

Looks like it's going to be a while.

Check out the Diablo 3 background pages (for instance creatures, Khazra, etc). The writing is a notch higher than the horrendous stuff on the SC/WC pages. The concepts aren't particularly original, but it's closer say to the quality of Warhammer writing than typical Blizzard writing.

I've given some serious thought to playing B+ level (my understanding is that B+/A- is a pretty solid player).
Right now, I'm just another C- Terran scrub, maybe with the current training routine could get up to C/C+. What has been your experience on what it takes to get to B+? Is it really a ton of time (4h a day?) or is it possible with discipline and just 1h a day? Since I would guess it varies person to person, I'd like to read some of your experiences.
I have read that Aether, one of old school top WC3 players, used to play only 1 hour a day. I'm not sure that's true though - thoughts?

I'm leaving for good.
Here's some stuff that people might want:
SEM-DT35 Keyboard (less than a week old - like perfect) that the koreans all use.
Logitech G3 laser mouse - in great condition
PM me and maybe we can work something out, over paypal (if possible, I'd like someone to take both for 50, and I'll ship for free).
