So yeah... I've been playing this game a little from time to time. I loved the original so I bought this one. It's not as good as the first one, but it is definitely a good game. So, I will tell you about my little adventure at Apogram.
Here are me and my Duty buddies heading back to base... hopefully nothing will go wrong...
We hear a rustling in the bushes. Maybe it's just the wind...
OH WHAT THE FUCK? It then proceeded to jump into the bushes carrying my buddy... These fuckers can turn invisible, which makes them a huge pain.
We have to keep moving or else more mutants will come :[ 5 of us left, we're pretty close to the base! Almost there!
We hear some growling up ahead at this little camp in the road... here we go again.
Some snorks ambush us! These guys are champion leapers and they make you bleed like crazy. At the end of the battle I used up all my bandages. I better not get hit again or it could be the end for me... My friends make a camp here, and I proceed to their base alone.
Yay! I reach the base and talk to their leader! He then tells me that I need to flood the underground, the source of all these mutants. But... the only way to flood the underground is to actually go there...
So I bought this game the other day... a little late yes, but it's still a fucking amazing game. The graphics are amazing... I'm running it in dx10 and when I first started playing I was like :o. The water is fucking incredible... and the game is pretty realistic (disregarding the "nanosuit" and alien things). The ai is pretty good, but it has some moments where a guy is just standing there getting shot by you. I'm playing it on the delta difficulty... and it's a pretty hard game. I'm not that great at shooters, but it's been pretty difficult for me. The gameplay is very intense and incredibly fun, and I think the plot is excellent as well (would've been better if they kept the whole alien thing a secret and didn't show it in their videos etc."). And the zero gravity is soooo awesome. My fps goes to hell when I get outside and it's all snowy... I gotta downgrade the graphics a little bit there, but it's still amazing. Anyone else play this game? what did you think of it?
p.s. the cloak function on the nanosuit is awesome
So my school starts tomorrow... I'm going to be a junior in high school... meh. I don't want to go back to school. Plus, I have to write an essay on Malcolm X right now, which I really don't feel like doing. So instead I made a blog complaining about it. Discuss.
So yeah, I'm going to get a new graphics card, my 7600 gs is kinda shitty now. I haven't been paying much attention lately to the new cards and I was wondering, is the 8800 gt still the way to go, or are there better cards in the 9 series? I don't really like ati chipsets, only nvidia really. Price doesn't matter too much, maybe like $300 max, cheaper would certainly be better though. I'll probably end up buying from newegg.com. Any recommendations on which card?
i make a game called 1v1 andromeda d!!! the first person to join is someone with 1 point. yes, 1 point. we played a tvt and i just put some pressure on him early game and he said gg and left. i looked up his stats on the iccup site, and he is 0-33. i have to say, i have sooo much respect for someone who will lose 33 games in a row and not reset their stats once. (reminds of katoan, lol) i just want to say to all the d- on iccup out there who don't reset, you're awesome, and i respect you.
Caught a big rabbit today :[. It brought it to the door so I got him to drop it and I put him inside. The rabbit was just laying there and it blinked once, and it was laying on the mat just outside my back door. So, I picked up the mat and put the rabbit outside on the dirt. I came back like an hour later and there were ants on it and stuff... I assumed it had died by then. I got my shovel out and dug a little hole. I wanted to be sure the rabbit was dead so I poked it a few times with the shovel. Once on the back, nose, ears, and around his eye. No response. I eventually got up enough nerve to touch the rabbit's chest and see if I felt anything moving, like a heart etc. I didn't feel anything so I went ahead and buried it. Poor guy :[
Has anyone watched this show? It's some Canadian show about people who live in a very small town, and I think it's pretty hilarious. Here's a clip of a scene.

Anyway, that picture was taken about two years ago when I was on a 7 day canoe trip somewhere on the Minnesota-Canada border. We basically had to finish everything designated for each day and not waste it, otherwise we'd have to pack it out. There was this nasty looking cherry cobbler that no one would touch, and I ended up having to eat it. That's pretty much my face of disgust I also look bad because I didn't shower for a few days besides dips in lakes. I swear i'll put a more flattering picture up at some point!

I don't think we're on the same page. If you look at the ORIGINAL POST you will see that he posted my facebook picture. Instead of the creepy picture, it now says "I <3 TL" and I've updated my status. The ORIGINAL POST's picture has changed. That picture is linked to one facebook account, mine.

That pic of me was taken almost 3 years ago, and sort of a private thing because the girl in the background is one of my good friend. How or why it is considered creepy when it's a private pic of a private profile, I don't know. The expression on my face is hilarious, is that why? I haven't changed the pic in half a year, I don't really care.
P.S. I do not play starcraft anymore, because I'm honestly not that good. I still browse here daily, but do not go into the sc2 or the bw forum. What else is there to say?
