Backstory: So I have a quad core computer, and I found that I have to change the processor affinity of starcraft in the task manager to just be on CPU 0 (uncheck 1 2 and 3) or starcraft will freeze and crash.
So I forgot to do this today and I was PvPing.
I just started a new account so I was basically messing with this D kid. He went 1 gate gas so I went 1 gate pylon and proceeded to manner pylon blocking off 3 of his probes.
Through my micro and his lack of it my early zealots killed most of his probes, so I had a huge lead and I fast expanded.
I teched to templars + shuttle off of two bases while he was still on one base. I got to his base and stormed getting over 30 probe kills right as his last ditch attack gets to my base WHEN MY COMPUTER FREEZES
So I'm in my third year in college, and my animation teacher saw me playing starcraft before class on the school computers.
So he challenges me in front of the whole class to a starcraft 1v1 battle, to which I of course accept.
At first I thought it would be a cakewalk since he probably doesn't know that much about the game and I'm D+/C- level, which is well above most bnet pubbies.
However, I've been hearing from upperclassmen that he played starcraft exclusively all through college, and that a company he used to work for (Buck) had starcraft tournaments weekly.
Lol I'm a little worried, the game goes down at 10 PM EST (3.5 hours from now)!

A lot of you have been disappointed because ebay has been removing the sc2 key auctions. Here's a way to sort of get around that. Lots of people package the sc2 key along with the wow mount, and some even package the card (containing both keys unscratched) with the rest of the blizzcon bag.
So bid on one of those auctions, and then resell the wow mount on ebay. The mounts alone are going on average for around 200-300 bucks!!! I started my auction to resell mine for $0.99 and it's already up to $152 with 3 days still left. Since I paid about 250 for the package of unscratched card + blizzcon goodie bag contents, if the resell price goes above 200 bucks I will have paid only 50 bucks for a sc2 beta key and the blizzcon goodie bag contents (which are awesome, btw... lol the diablo 3 "sinamints" are amazing).
I saw on some other threads some people saying they were willing to pay a lot of money for one of these keys, so 50 bucks shouldn't be too bad, especially considering you get the blizzcon goodie bag contents along with it if you bid on one of those auctions.
I'm sharing this with you guys because I believe everyone on team liquid should be in the sc2 beta All those kids that just play wow are wasting their cards, while plenty of hardcore starcraft players are left empty-handed.

Now I know I've made two threads dissing iCCup in different ways.... but that doesn't mean I don't love iccup. I love iccup. I just diss it because I think it could be even better.
In any case, it's down right now and I had decided to pull an all nighter and mass game.

Why the hell do they have to keep choosing these retarded maps for map of the week?
First off, Faoi is map of the week almost every single week. It was map of the week every week but last week...
No offense to nightmarjoo, but faoi has a bunch of flaws which make me hate playing on it.
Secondly, look at the maps this week. Sword in the moon? Honestly?
Has anyone attempted FE'ing on this map? It's impossible! The two openings into the natural make the choke so wide it's impossible to wall off unless you're walling off against a 50 pool and have the tech buildings to put in place as well with multiple pylons.
Maybe I'm just a noob since all I like playing are python, longinus, and a few others, but it seems like these new maps are really dumb.
Not being able to FE wouldn't be that big of a deal IF IT WAS A MICRO BASED MAP. However, considering the map is huge and the bases are in the corners, it's safe to say it's a macro whore map, just like every single other map that's come out in the last year it seems.
When savior gave that little speech in english, I practically came to tears. I had no idea he speaked english, and I had come to believe he didn't care enough about winning anymore to come out of his slump, but that speech and interview answers really give me hope.
