I remember watching an anime a year or so again, and from what I think I can remember it was about one guy with a sword wearing black mostly and liking to drink milk in bars. It had a wild west-esque setting but there also had huge mechs in it too. There was also a little girl who kept following him to find someone. That's about all I can recall.

I tried searching but not too sure which key words I should use, so can you help me guys? Cheers

So I saw Quantum of Solace and I thought it was enjoyable, it wasn't up to the same high standards as Casino Royale set but any James Bond movie was gonna pull me in.

I got a bit confused about the plot but here goes. Initially it started off with Bond still after revenge over the death of Vesper, if you saw the end of the last film that man is taken back to be interrogated.

It turns out he works for some new organisation that the CIA has never heard of but is incredibly huge with people everyone.

This then spirals out with Bond chasing after people from that organisation, finding more information about them and still wanting to get revenge for Vesper as well as recruiting a new Bondgirl and helping her mission.

There were plenty of good action scenes as expected, the start begins with an exciting car chasing sequence, there are some hand to hand fights and of course huge explosions.

The Bondgirl this time, Olga Kurylenko, was hot. Enough about that

However in the end I wasn't too keen on this storyline and it seemed more confusing as it went on with who are the villains and heroes etc. I have to say that Casino Royale was simply better than this.

Can anybody recommend me some chinese movies based on the triads and them societies. Recently I've only just discovered the "Young and Dangerous" series and they're awesome I think, basically talking about the rise of one triad member to the top although the later films are getting worst plots. So I'm thinking films like that or along the lines of Infernal Affairs, I'd prefer them to be Hong Kong cantonese films.

I haven't seen a thread in general about this, so I thought I'd blog it. Well Don LaFontaine is dead! He died a few days ago, so this is a bit late but it's a big shame. He's the guy who's done the voice for around 5,000 movie trailers. Most of them starting with "in a world..."

Ah, so after a decade or so of studying. The results of my GCSEs came in, which for those who don't know are the major tests in the UK that are taken at age 16. Getting 5 Cs is enough to get in to college.

Ok, when it comes to playing SC, I'm goddawful. I struggle to win on at all, so I just play for fun. I've never even won a game on ICC before, until today!

I haven't played on ICC ranked for a few months last time I gave up when I reached 0-8. I expected no different today and on my first game was a PvT on Python.

He opted to go fast dropship and dropped 4 vultures into my main killing 10-20 probes. Luckily my nat had just finished.



Then I expanded to the bottom corner expo, soon after, he sent a large force there which didn't kill it but it did kill my army which had gone to defend it. Eventually I mopped that up.



Later I prevented him from expanding to top right with 2 speedzeals.

Eventually my arbiter tech kicked in and my first 2 arbs were out with hardly any energy. My army composition was around 4-5 goons, 15 zeals, 2 temps. (I was imitating Pusan on a much smaller scale.) I sent my obs to the middle and saw he had a huge wall of tanks and vults, no turrets. Therefore I sent everything in, tried to stasis but I don't think I had any energy. He didn't even have a SV yet most of my army died, I had like 3-4 zeals left that had just rallied.

Ok, I know there's been tonnes of threads on RPGs, so I thought I'd just blog it. People recommend me some from the PS1 era and before! I've gone obsessed with putting games on my PSP and soon I should hopefully be getting a 4gb memory stick and so I'll just stick like 5-10 RPGs and I'm happy.

Ideas I've got so far are:
Xenogears
Suikoden 2
Earthbound

I'm not in the mood for FF at the moment as I played them to death on my PS1.

Well there's a remake for Chrono Trigger and for the DS and I have to say that the trailer looks bloody amazing. Chrono Trigger is probs better than FF7 and 6 in my opinion.
