I was browsing through nicovideo.jp as i regularly do, when I decide to watch this:
http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm5433129

I don't know why, but.. no actually I know exactly why, that video inspired me because that looked FUN.

FUN compared to sitting on my 360 which I've owned for 2 years now and barely cracking a smile while I get mediocre k:d ratios on Halo and Call of Duty after a few hours, sometimes being enraged by repetitive dying as so often happens with games of this sort.
Honestly I've never touched my 360 this past year except for those occasions where friends come over and want to play it. Most of those times I just get on the computer and do other things while they sit there on 360, eventually growing extremely bored of playing it. Any game I've bought for the 360 (I have 7 total) has lasted me maybe an average of 25 hours of actual entertainment, even the RPGs bored me after a bit.
Maybe it's just me, but I really don't think the 360 is that much fun; Xbox live is a good service, but it never really appealed to me for more than a week of my buying it. I regret buying it and wish I would have bought a Wii (it was cheaper then too TT) instead of succumbing to the masses of peers who told me Wiis were for little kids and that 360s were where the "real" entertainment lay.

Anyway,
I'm looking through and seeing loads of games that I know are fun from past experiences at a friend's house or that I know will definitely keep me entertained.
There's such a diverse array of [great] games that seem to be available for Wii, and though this generally applies to every console, games like Super Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart, Mario Party, and Okami are the kinds of things you can only find for Wii.
Furthermore, I'm such a huge fan of Zelda games and really want to play Twilight Princess, but I heard the Gamecube version was much worse than that of the Wii. I loved Animal Crossing for GC and the City Folk seems like something that would last me, especially because now you can interact online. The original Animal Crossing lasted me a very relaxing round year, checking back every now and then even though I could only interact with computer AIs. Paper Mario for N64 was SO GREAT, possibly one of the best RPGs I've played as I remember it as a kid, and the new Super Paper Mario looks incredible.
Games like these are really swaying my motive to just buy a Wii already with some of the money I've saved, and possibly sell my 360, seeing as to how I really never play it.

Well then, I'm really interested in what you all have to say as the span of these consoles have progressed. I saw the other 2 threads on this, one showing opinions in 2006 and the other in 2007. Nearing the end of 2008, I want to know what TL thinks about these 2 consoles (PS3 too hardcore for me to have fun with).

Opinions, advice, flame, all greatly appreciated.

Today I asked my a close friend of mine who is very luckily completely in my schedule for even days to count the number of times I would use the word "like" that day. At the end of the day he solemnly tells me, "24". I actually predicted it would be somewhere along those lines so I just gave him a nod and walked home.

I've made a resolution. Eliminate the word "like" from my speech completely unless it's absolutely required for things like similes. I've decided to replace "like" with "maybe" whenever I just throw it in because I'm not entirely sure. When I make numerical estimates, I'll use "around" in lieu of "like". When there are those sentences where you say things like, "That is, like, the greatest thing ever created.", I'll just not include that part of the sentence.

I realize how self-conscious I must be to want to do this, but I also realized how stupid (for lack of a better word) such repetition of "like", using it at least once in almost every other sentence, actually is. It's not just me, obviously, everyone I know at my school also overuses the word for various reasons, and I've become increasingly aware of it. I just have some innate calling to stop sprinkling the word around in whatever I say, I don't want to stop just because I think people who overuse it make themselves look like imbeciles.

It has already proven to be a challenge, I just now said to my mom after she asked me what time I wanted to eat: "I don't know. Like, an hour?"

I saw this on 무한도전.

1.
. . .
. . .
. . .

How can you touch all nine dots using only four lines? (you can't break and start at a different spot)

2. Andrew has two bottle of medicine to last him three days. Each bottle contains three tablets. He must take one of each medicine for each of the three days. On the second day, he accidentally spills the bottles and doesn't know which belongs to which bottle. They are all the same color and size and you can't differentiate between them with your eyes, or any other of the five senses. If he takes two of the same medicine or doesn't take one of each medicine in a day, he will die. How will he do it?

3. What letter is missing in this sequence?
O T T _ F S S E

they're all pretty easy, i think tl can solve all three in less than fifteen minutes of my posting this

Why am I posting another blog on tl.net?
I hardly have a clue, I'm incredibly bored (as is common with blog posters) and decided to inform the ~150 people who will view this blog about what I feel like talking about in my life, granted they didn't leave the blog already by now.

I've found some urge to practice hours straight on piano of my own volition on zelda songs that are, needless to say, amazing.
after watching

So that's been fun, and near impossible seeing as to how I took lessons only for about half a year when I was six.

If anyone remembers (which they won't), I successfully eradicated porn from my life this past summer, and loss of desire to masturbate naturally came with it. I feel good.

I put this, one of the most laughter-inducing videos I've ever stumbled upon on YouTube,

on my COWON D2, which is an incredible player by the way, and watched it until I knew exactly when and where everything would appear.

Sophomore year has been good to me. I actually think my classes are interesting and/or fun this year, namely AP Computer Science. For some reason, I just started noticing that every single hallway has some couple kissing each other in between classes like it means anything to them, which it could for all I know.

On an ending note, 1:1 is just not as fun to me now on bw. Because of that, I'm looking for a 2:2 friend to play spontaneous games with, competent or not. I am known as TaP.Tube on east, and can be found afk often in channel clan x17 of east.

I expect a quick flurry of 1/5 stars on this blog, and graciously accept them.

So i saw his blog and people were saying it was a stupid riddle, therefore I present you with one of my own:

All you have is a rope and a lighter/match/something to burn the rope with.
The rope takes exactly 60 minutes to burn.
How do you measure out exactly 45 minutes?

i know this was posted before, but that was august 2004

so its some (i think) japanese guy playing one of the hardest songs on a rhythm game called pop'n music
thats pretty much all i know about it
all i can say is that i was completely blown away by the speed of the game and player, it makes me so much less impressed with ddr fanatics

i became d+ iccup about a week ago and didnt know they kept record of the matchlist until today, so if anyone gives a shit:

the fact that 7 of my 11 games were zvz tells me that theres alot of zergs stuck on iccup d level
winning all but 1 of those zvzs somehow turned zvz into my favorite mu

i dont know what everyone was saying about this season being so hard to rank up in because im doing SO much better this season if you looked at my previous stats, im hoping that its just because i got alot better

another observation:
on my profile it says last seen date was 01 january 1970

i deeply thought about it and i realized that if i keep watching porn at this rate (once a day, perhaps more), my life will be virtually ruined.
first of all, its ruining my relationship with God (Christianity is one of the only things i have right now)
i can already see it affecting my social life in various ways which i would prefer not to get into,
and i have to stop before its too late and i become like people i see on bnet or even tl.net

if anyone sincerely has tips, i need them badly becasue i haven't watched porn in ~36 hours and its getting harder and harder to stop myself knowing im home alone almost all day every day this summer

the way the lead singer interacts with the crowd is one to be admired, especially from 3:00 to 4:50
can anyone tell me if the guitarist on right is actually a girl or just a hot crossdresser (yes i know what i said)

LMFAO @ left guitarist without a shirt
the keyboard player looked so pissed off having to wear that ridiculous hat

yeah i find this band, COOL&CREATE, ridiculous in the way they dress, the lead singer's voice, and by how much their fans apparently love them
i have to admit that their remixes of touhou songs are quite hardcore

whoever created this level is not only a genius, but also has less of a life than that guy who perfected super kaizo world

note: the level is created so that from the beginning you don't have to press a single button, the level rides you from the beginning to the end with iced ground and autojump blocks (including yoshi blocks)
