Today at the Univeristy of California Irvine, a mix of 800 student and some faculty held a mass protest against the lack of beta keys handed out by Blizzard Entertainment. The picture seen here is the mob taking to the streets in a direct march to Blizzard headquarters in Irvine to voice their complaints about the vast amount of noobs getting beta keys instead of loyal Brood War enthusiasts.
I recognize both those locations on the UCI campus. I used to go there every day in the summer. The second picture is taken from the bridge that connects the UCI campus (by the rose garden) to the plaza with all the stores by Lee's sandwiches.
Edit: Ok, he changed the pictures. I should have quoted OP so this post doesn't seem off. But ya, second picture has been changed.
Some of these protests are stupid because most of them aren't even in it for the cause. There's already reports of students smashing windows on cars, pulling fire alarms at school, or running into classroom disrupting a teacher lecturing. At UC Santa Cruz, a couple hundred blocked off an intersection. Not to mention a group of idiots managed to block off I 880 and causing traffic that is extending for miles.

It's not?
It's hellavah lot more peaceful than what goes on elsewhere in the world.

they're destroying the property of the people who pay taxes to fund their education.
not exactly the best way to gain support for your cause?
no, the taxes aren't funding their education anymore, that's the issue.
you're not making any sense
if the reason for the protest is that taxes aren't funding their education anymore, then why would you want to destroy the citizen's private property? wouldn't it just make those taxpayers not want to join in the cause to redirect taxes back to public education? i know that if some public school students vandalized my property i wouldn't rally to their cause to have more of my tax money go to them.

That's because students are angry, reckless people. In that incident about the middle eastern guy getting tazed at the UCLA library, the students sensationalized the shit out of that story. The issue is still a problem, just some of the students are being dumb about it.
It's not their cause...it's our cause. They're just being stupid about it...we're not.
