So I just wanted to take a moment to say "Thank You!!" to the small handful of people who still livestream their broodwar games. I really appreciate it and it makes my day when I see one of you actually on and streaming.
Thank you BW streamers

I think that most of the people streaming are using procaster, but I could be wrong. I know for sure that's what day9 uses for all of his stuff - you can see it come up sometimes when he's busy casting and trying to figure out why it keeps crashing ^^

BW is way more entertaining than SC2 and just a better game IMO. I don't like the 3D graphics or the fact that games are decided by 2 giant balls meeting up and exploding. So keep streaming bw plox.

I watch and I will continue to watch! You're awesome! so is .67Mb/s a good upload speed? and I think everyone who streams full screen uses Camtasia, but an older version... I don't know. What do you use PHZ?

I miss all those great SC:BW streams. Lz, ret, Gretorp, nongmin, and Oystein. Ah, those were good streams. I was hoping listal would stream more (nrg.eve), but I hardly see his stream on. Err, not to be unthankful for the SC2 streams cuz those are pretty awesome too, just that I miss the fast paced-high apm action of SC:BW, lol.

I use Camtasia Studio version 4. It works great, and it's easy to use. And for the Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder 3 settings, I set my video bitrate to 480 Kbps and my audio bitrate to 20 Kbps. And I tweaked other advanced encoder settings and the frame rate to maximize the stream quality.

All I gotta say is, I hope the progamers play BW for as long as possible. Hopefully forever. Starcraft is the best game ever made. Starcraft 2, I'll admit is a good game, but why would I stop playing a game that is clearly better? Or "switch over" as people like to call it. These are two completely different games so why are people "switching." I really wish Blizzard named the game something else because it is not Starcraft. Yeah, I'm gonna buy SC2 and play it, but after some time I'll probably go right back to sc. I hope that a lot of other people do the same thing. I mean just look at what Blizzard did to WoW. That game is such a joke now. I really do not trust this company. Good thing they made an amazing game 10 years ago that I can enjoy forever.
