Cause that looks way different than mine The people on the scrim scene (basically the "pro" scene although very few teams get sponsors) usually have lower quality graphics and larger screen sizes so that they can easily distinguish the enemy from the background and also have a very high FPS. Most players obviously use the maximized graphics for their system regardless of the minute losses in skill. EDIT: Oh, and some of the HUD's are different. Obviously you can download/install those to help remove a lot of the clutter on the screen.

Competitive TF2 is awesome, check it out. My team (www., we're the RED team in this particular match), vs Team Dignitas, who are arguably the best team in Europe. I'm the red demoman (picked a bad game for fakenicking, my name in this game is -- and the caster keeps calling me Dash!).

Another thing I hate is when people call soldiers 'sollies'. Fucking come on! It doesn't shorten it to say at all, both are 2 syllables. Calling them 'sollies' makes them sound like a candy marketed to a child! The highlight clips are pretty cool but normal comp games make me sleepy.

It's badass you guys got to play against Dignitas and took a round off them (at least, didn't watch the whole video ) I play comp TF2 at a fairly low level in the NA scene and it's pretty cool seeing a higher up player all the way over here on TL :D

LOVED Team fortress classic though! That was one of my first online games. I watched that competitive match someone linked to though and I couldn't really get into it, was just a giant cluster fuck, hard to really tell what's going on from a spectators point of view.

Been playing in division 1 teams for over a year and a half now I believe. There are tons of TF2 players that enjoy Starcraft and teamliquid . Just some that I know of are appe and jaeger who have both posted on this forum as well.

I play roamer and I try to model a lot of my play after jaeger^^ Maybe I'll run into a few other pros at some point around here :p
