Btw, do you have this part tabbed? If so, I would rerecord it myself and put it up here, too

Washy effects like that cover up a lot of possible mistakes and it sounds like you're duplicating notes with fast picking rather than playing your progressions/scales/modes/arpeggios/whatever quickly. If you can't make it sound good with minimal effects, you aren't playing well. I couldn't do what you just did, but my opinion still stands.

Thanks to TL.net I just realized i have been wasting my time learning guitar. i will promptly sell my axe and amp and invest in a small industrial sized shredder and start perfecting my art of turning big pieces of paper into thousands of smaller pieces. thank you tl.net for opening my eyes. if it wasn't for you i would still be just some fag with a guitar and too much delay.

challenge accepted OP check the string skipping at the end :3 i didn't know TL could offer constructive criticism about guitar playing as well (i am not being sarcastic)

It's fun, but it can also make things hard to hear, especially intricate scales. As far as shredding and playing fast goes, it seems like you've got it tuned in pretty well. As an aside, it sure is nearly impossible to play harmonic minor scales on the guitar without sounding like another Yngwie clone. You've got some cool riffs, but playing them over and over just smothers the whole song and makes it boring.

Cut out those duplicate riffs. You've got some cool riffs, but playing them over and over just smothers the whole song and makes it boring. listening to it again after a few months i agree with you, but it wasn't meant to be an instrumental song edit: also the backing track is MIDI from GuitarPro so it sounds rather lame On August 05 2010 05:51 Coagulation wrote: Nice chops good composition Solid tone Good shit thanks
