2) Three of the songs are actually from the Modal Soul Classics II compilation, which is a tribute album for the deceased Nujabes.

Cool, gonna check this out and see if it's better than lokiM's collection :p

Please post some more! There are quite a few jazz hiphop blogs lately and I love it. I've always wanted to listen to this genre but I didn't know what was good and what was bad. Thanks for this!

Thanks a lot for putting this up. Sick sick sick!

Thank you for this, I'm going to hospital for a week (nothing too serious) so it'll be nice to listen to some new music while I'm there (no internet...nooooo).
|
I was just searching for Jazz Hop music on google. Didn't expect to find some on TL, though. Really dope compilation! =)
|
Finally got around to listening ... really dig it, thanks for sharing.
|
17. Ness - Deep Purple (Ayur Re-Edit) (link) NO! NOOO! That song is hunting my dreams! I don't know what it is and why it does that, but I'm absolutely allergic to that song.
But really nice collection, I do have to say. Nice that you kept Nujabes out of that one. Gotta let that poor guy rest~
Didn't download it, however, since I've got most stuff already.
Keep up the good work!

Dj Shadow - Midnight In A Perfect World
look it up on youtube, you'll like that song for sure. and if you do like that song, look up Dj Shadows album Entroducing, everything on there is incredible, you'll probably really enjoy that album
|
Nice thread! I just sprung for a Pandora sub the other day and my long time primary playlist is very similar to yours!
It would take me forever to post all those songs/artists I've bookmarked, here is the most recent bunch.
LTJ Bukem Zero 7 DJ Krush & Toshinori Kondo Sound Providers Typical Cats
Some more obvious ones would be DJ shadow and rjd2.
|
Sup keV! Yeah I know all the artists you listed. My favorite would have to be either Zero 7 or the Sound Providers. I used to listen to Zero 7 pretty much nonstop a while back. XD
