Anyway, I'd suggest getting some friends and going to a place that has a buffet. You'll have a lot of fun kicking it while you're cooking the meat and it'll never stop coming. If you're not a pussy you'll be able to get through at least three full plates of meat between 3-4 people. My friends and I have gone through seven before between four of us. Be careful with pork, though. Samgyubsal isn't too bad since it's cut thin and flat, but it's really difficult to tell when thicker or messier cuts of pork are fully cooked (daejibulgogi (usually marinated in some kind of spicy sauce) and pork chop-like things are very hard to tell). I've gotten food poisoning from not cooking it properly like a retard.

I recommend everything on the menu. Just go for it. It'll be good. Ask the waitress/waiter/server for help regarding how to cook it properly, and in some cases, they come and do it for you.

Then you can continue eating Cha-Dol-Bae-Gi as you move on to other meats, usually Sam-Gyup-Sal, which is kind of like a thick bacon? Samgyupsal can be eaten alone with rice (It's usually dipped in a sauce), or more traditionally, it can be eaten with an assortment of side dishes. Eating samgyupsal is kind of like an art and is worth a quick google to get an idea of how to eat it in order to enjoy it the most ^^ Another popular kind of meat is Bul-go-gi, which is marinated beef. There is also Gal-bi, which is a marinated short rib and is usually more expensive than the other kinds of meat. All this food is usually served with various Ban-chan or side dishes of all different kinds. Make sure you at least try all of them! With Korean BBQ you pretty much can't get wrong, just go ahead and order any kind of meat (Probably one of the four I mentioned) and just go for it

One time I asked a korean ahjuma at a korean BBQ if they have galmaegisal and she said "ohh you really miss korean meat, but sadly its not here in usa" I would recommend bulgogi but it's rly not that expensive and not worth the "all u can eat" its like going to a chinese buffet and filling up on fried rice.. why bother? beef brisket and galbi and other expensive stuff is what u want since it's more delicious and cost more!
