Is that really what he did (I couldn't watch)?
I'm updating my quote right now, I'm a Jinro fan!

Agreed. Our man Jinro is among the best that the sc2 scene has to offer in every aspect of the word.
|
you speak the truth. jinro is a god among men.

The Chin will be back, don't worry about it. He's young and the future is bright for him.

You Jinro people are starting to look like a cult
Saying "gg, gl for the rest of the tournament" is far from uncommon... plus Jinro knows that MKP will need luck against MVP. Also what does Jinro know about manner, seems to me like walking in MC's booth while he was facepalming was BM as hell. When I lose to a lesser player, the last thing I want is for that guy to come poke me in the back.

Man, when he tapped out, It was at the climax of the final, one good punch on the face of Foxer, before Jinro collapsed onto the mat.
It hurts to say it, but the dream is over for another season, I guess we should all be glad that the dream lasted this long.

Saying GG GL at the end of a BoX play is always really tough.

MC and Jinro are good friends. I daresay he knows what's appropriate to do in that situation. When MC 4-0'ed him a season earlier, they hugged.

Yeah, reminds me of Mondragon's "gg, well played, and congratulations!" after TSL2. Being that manner after losing such a tough series takes balls.

Jinro is S class no doubt. Unfortunately he just assumed too much this match. If he had scouted a little better he could have had greater chances. All the best. Go Jinro!

always RO4, He deserves to be in the finals

I always find this second-guessing of what is good or bad mannered from afar kind of strange. There's no doubt that Jinro had good intentions in that situation, so why stretch so much to put your own lens over the situation.
Edit: and to stay on theme, also really impressed by Jinro's play and conduct, he was playing from behind a lot of the time, but kept his head and gave us some good games.

WTF are you talking about?
No one has EVER said to their opponent, "gl in the next round" after losing. It is incredibly rare, so much so that it has never happened in the GSL before. Jinro is easily the best mannered player on the scene right now. Also, as for him going to MC's booth, clearly you know nothing about empathy. Clearly, you also don't understand their friendship, so you probably shouldn't be making baseless comments like that.
I admire Jinro. He played very well and put up a great fight against a good opponent.
+ Show Spoiler +I just wish he could have scouted better

I only saw the last game of the series, but something like that, you gotta respect.
I have a newfound respect in jinro.

What a gentleman. Reminds me of how Slayers_Boxer shakes the other guy's hand even when he loses.

Are you really trying to argue that going up to your teammate and putting your hand on his shoulder is a sign of bad manner? Don't want to know how your social life looks if you see that as a sign of agression :/
As for Jinro, he played fucking amazing! A couple times during the first set I really couldn't believe it was Jinro playing, such good multitask that I was ready to ragequit myself lol. His solid playstyle definitely has future, I don't think we've seen the last of the Gorilla Terran!

What interests me in all this is that maybe the future of TvT is simply bio with medivacs everywhere as MKP has shown not only against jinro but against Nada as well with some really epic base trading games. So is the slow tank push viking style going to disappear? I think on some maps it will remain, but if we get bigger and bigger maps in GSL that replace small ones (like steppes, where tank pushes are an absolute must) then I think this MKP style will really dominate TvT. I'm interested to see IMmvp vs MKP, will mvp do a tank/viking build? or will he try and go for some banshee play? or perhaps go MKP style with bio? Should be THE most epic final in GSL besides S2 with nestea and MKP (notice how MKP makes every game so damn intense?).

Jinro is incredibly well-mannered and such a nice guy...I hope he wins a gsl ._.

<3 Jinro
Has always been so mannered, whether it be modding on TL or owning it up in SC!

Really looks like it, that's all I could think about for the entire series after that doom drop counter. The mobility is too great an advantage to pass up for tanks that don't do incredibly well in most situations.

Jinro is so beast! Hopefully he'll get to the finals next season.

QFTx1000 Amazes me how few people actually are able to accept that this MKP style of TvT might be legit. There definitely are weaknesses, as shown in the first game, or the A Class final where TOP really punished the 1rax CC opening hard, but overall this unit mix, and the later transitions into higher tech might very well be more solid than the current "orthodox" style.

Heh very GM of jinro
On the low quality stream i thought it said "gg" "Fuck this map" (since luck/fuck and mvp/map) because of how mkp constantly abused side passages to flank his tanks, and i agree !
