I've taken the liberty of compiling all replays I've found on MLG's website using my noob wget skills and the blessing of SC2Gears rename capabilities. Note that they are only divided into Pool and Open, as I don't have the patience to categorize them manually and am to stupid to script it properly
I'll try to update the pack with new replays as soon as they come out, but it will probably be a batch few hours after all games from a particular day finish.
Some games might be missing, as I haven't gone into some deep analysis of what I've found and several replays are unavailable on the website itself
omg..... you are so fucking awsome......... this come fromt he bottom of my heart.....i appreaciate what you have done for us here. save me time and easy to find the games i want. tytytyty
OMG, HuK commented on my blog. My life is COMPLETE! (Well almost, I just need Tyler, iNcontroL, TLO, IdrA and few others )
On topic: If it gets popular I promise I'll try to find a way to categorize the replays somewhat. What format do you think would be the best? Would this directory tree work?
Ty so very much! I missed the IdrA game due to a rookie mistake of watching Tastosis and not understanding they wouldn't cover IdrA.. I couldn't navigate the VOD section on MLGs site and this is so great :D ty.
Well, I've just finished my disgustingly brute-force download script. It's running as I type this post. As soon all replays download, I'll update the OP with a new replay pack. If some replays would be missing in the package even though they are on the MLG website, please let me know, I'll try to fix such bugs.
Updated the pack with some fresh replays. I'll try to do it throughout the night as I watch the streams. I will fall asleep on my keyboard eventually though, so do not be mad if the set is somewhat not up to date. As soon as I wake up there will be more
Unfortunately I cannot tell. I haven't been watching many reps, just few selected. There are over 800 files as for this moment, so that's a lot to choose from
As an Australian with shaped internet (which is terrible at the best of times) with a shoddy 30kb/s download rate, who is following this MLG by Twitter alone, that struggles to load the MLG website, this is the best thing since sliced bread, and I love sandwiches.
Thank you muchly for this, fine sir! Here's a kirby:

I just woke up. The replays are downloading. I have crappy connection (upload at least), so expect the pack to be updated in circa 20 minutes. Some replays of Day 2 are already there though.
It will easily exceed 50 mb probably with Day 3 coming up (and some day 2 reps that were not uploaded). But some early games of Open Bracket are obviously not the highest quality
Day 3 replays are coming. Please be patient. Uploading (15 minutes) Replays are up (the first link in OP). I may think about mirroring this evening. Enjoy!
Okay, the full pack is up. I haven't thoroughly checked it, so if any replays are missing, let me know. Unfortunately I will be able to fix this not before this evening (~Monday, Jun 06 5:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00)), but I hope that 99% of files are there. If not, please be patient (or download them by yourself )
Also, feel free to mirror it and link the pack there, as I cannot assure the link won't be broken.
Thank you so much! I am always amazed and how much people like you and the guy who made the script to watch both MLG streams at once do to help out everybody else.
So by the end of Columbus, there maybe many more replays than we have now. I was wondering if there was some system that could be put in place that would allow for downloading select days of replays, perhaps as separate downloads for each of the days. By the end people may not want to download the 50MB of the first 3 days when they just want the 5MB of the last days.
I could also say the same for all the Open replays, as I don't really watch them.
Maybe a system as one with any good torrent programme, where you can select which files from the torrent you wish to download. Though separate day downloads would probably be nicer on your upload/easier to update/wouldn't need seeders if you opted to actually put it as a torrent.
Not complaining, what you have done is awesome, just when you are sharing a 30GB cap with 5 people, you have to find corners to cut
Edit: After downloading the pack anyway (I couldn't wait :D) I realise after looking through that It's over, for some reason i was expecting it to last a week or so. Perhaps that makes some of my points a little redundant
Well, I could have uploaded the whole directory structure to my Dropbox, so that you can download files & folders however you like as it automatically zips folders if you want to download. The problem is that my DBx is overloaded at the moment so it wouldn't work. I could also upload it to my uni mirror, but I do not want to cross the line and it would be tiresome to navigate all folders and find replays you are interested in (the folders would be simply subfolders of public_html). I am nowhere near proficiency in web matters as Gods like R1CH, so I do not see a more elegant solution right now.
How about you PM me the games that you would like to get. Or you can just use sites like http://www.sc2rep.com/
Thanks for feedback anyway. The thing you are describing is completely doable, it is just a matter of finding an appropriate place to host the directory structure. Hell, I may think of a repository of some sort. But wouldn't a git repo be too complicated for an average TL netizen?

Sorry guys, but I've decided to take down the dropbox mirror (I like my account, and was unaware that it is possible to overload it ). Hope this doesn't result in any inconveniences for you. The pack is in its final version, so feel free to upload and share it anywhere you want.

Thanks for the neatly organized compliation of replays. Very useful.
I have a problem with some of them however. I've just moved from a windows machine to a mac. I've downloaded and extracted your replay pack, and put it into the correct folder. From SC2 I see the directory structure, and some of the replays (about 1/3) but I can't see most of them (I don't see the file in the SC2 UI). If I double click on one of the 'ghost' replay files, it opens SC2 but that's it, nothing happens (not even an error message).
I thought I was missing the maps, but doesn't look like the case (two replays on same map, I can see one but not the other).
I've tried searching on the forums, but I couldn't find anything. I know I should open a thread, but I just created the forum account, so I cannot for 3 days. So, in the meantime, if anyone could help me, it would be greatly appreciated.
Could you give a sample of specific replays that do not work. It will answer if it is a problem locally on your machine or is it a problem with the replays themselves.
Wow cool thanks! On my phone now, will download when I get home. Gonna watch the vods of the finals first though, fell asleep halfway as it was over 5am

Anyone else encountered a similar problem?
Sure. For instance, Pool A, the folder wemadefox_Moon vs FnaticFenix is empty from SC2 while wemadefox_Moon vs Gret0rp shows me the replays (and they work).
Sorry, but I have no time to check it right now, unfortunately (end of semester & exams are killing me). I'll try dig into it this weekend. In the meantime, if you are desperate to see them try to use http://www.sc2rep.com/ for example. They have all the reps, just unsorted. Also, if it's possible, maybe try to re-download the pack. Your first download might have been corrupted in some way (especially because no one else seems to have a similar problem)
Doesn't look like it's an issue with those files. I've tried them with SC2Gears, and they load just fine. Looks more like an issue with my SC2.. anyone has had similar issues?
