I cannot figure out why this wasn't mentioned in more recaps, but for me, the 100% most awesome viewing experience was watching the Koreans play on the second stage at MLG. When else would I ever get a chance to, in a competitive format, watch some of the top players in the world actually play a game, see what they see and do during the entire game.
I see why many players might not enjoy it, but watching MMA dismantle July FPV was one of the highlights of the entire event for me. This is obviously not a "mainstream" viewing experience as you need to have a pretty good idea of what's going on and a lot of experience playing/watching sc2 to even follow what's going on.
I love casted / observed games, but go to MLG Aneheim and watch these amazing players play first person, it was such an awesome experience for me, completely different than watching a stream.
