Even if, like me, your knowledge of StarCraft II doesn't extend beyond knowing the franchise's three primary races, you can still get a ton of enjoyment out of this video watching some of the real-time strategy game's best players trying to teach an American "Platinum League" player. The instructors here are members from renown, professional Korean SCII team SlayerS, with most of the advice coming from the group's distinctive coach Hong "Cella" Seung Pyo and Protoss player Yang "Alicia" Joon Sik. The American player getting schooled here is Joseph "Pocketsocks" Jen. Now, it takes a while for the video to pick up (the first "no no nonononono"s come around 4:05), but it picks up around the 10:30 mark as everyone yells out advice during battles, Pocketsocks tries to understand the thickly accented instructions, and you can hear the despair in the teachers' voices. I'm unsure how you arrange one of these lessons, but if you've got the cash to pay and want to live out the same hilarity, you could probably contact Cella to coach you through a match filled with "no no nonononono"s, too!
I saw this live, it was really amazing, I am glad someone shared it for everyone else. Talk about getting a good bang for your buck, paying for cella to coach you and end up with like an entire korean pro team helping you.
I love Cella's stream- he has a ton of antics like when he went 200 3-3 drones (smurfing) and panicked when he saw Carriers. that still makes me giggle.
<3 Cella, to think you used to get him as a coach for 15$ an hour on discount

haha. Fun coaching session. I haven't seen much plat replays, and was pleasantly surprised they had solid strats and tactics like baneling dropping etc.
Cool seeing them get so excited for a random match, yelling clapping and doing thumbs up haha Passionate about the game

that was absolutely awesome. Ridiculously entertaining, and its amazing how much protoss knowledge gets conveyed in 20 min in spite of language barrier/general chaos. Alos nice to see how much fun these guys have with this game.
Kudos to the guy getting coached. He is actually really good and can follow the instructions amidst 4 Koreans talking and screaming haha. Would be much less epic if the guy just broke down under all the instructions.
This guy also avoid baneling bombs really well imo lol. Good reaction.

hahahahah it's still echoing in my head rofl... that was awesome.
Cella lessons have always been amazing. It's especially funny when the student gets really behind and you can hear the despair in Cella's voice. Cella will sometimes compliment the student on his good GG timing in those cases
i would get coaching from cella... but i find it hard to understand him. the point that he has to repeat council like 5 times... just too much. dont think it'll be worth the hour when i have to try and figure out what he's saying on certain times. maybe it's just the stream and it might be clearer on skype, the plat player seems to have a hang of the accent. anyone know how much he charges?
Someone posted a link to the full video in Cella's fanclub. After watching it I've been going through all the videos.
Around 21:00 Alicia jumps in his chair and starts laddering on his account. His bad manner Konglish is ROFL worthy and I can't even understand the Korean half.
buka buka, buka buka fuck fucking pylon fuck you have not enough mineral buka buka, buka buka you have not enough mineral fucking pylon ooooohhhh, uhhhhhhh roachesssssss

I dunno about that. He learned good building placement, proper gas timing, and the overarching strategy every Korean toss thinks is the best.
Then other little nuggets of knowledge were thrown in here or there. Like how strong it could be to move up the ramp if you have the opportunity, or never to blink forward. I mean, perhaps it was me taking things in as an observer, but I thought there was a ton to learn from the session.
Even just the best way to approach any of the situations given in the match.
Imo, expecting anything more than much from any 22 minute game is a little silly. Especially a game you won.
The best part about it is the advices from Cella were very helpful and his decision was awesome to make this guy won that game. I think the VRs switch was in time, and blink was very precise.

oh my god the guy he PvP'ed messaging him after was priceless
I don't think he realized he just called fucking ALICIA a faggot and got told off in a boss way

That was quite funny. I must have missed this moment on his stream, will have to watch more of it now.
two of the best coaches of the world! the coach of two-times GSTL winner Slayers and one of the up-and-comming protoss with great showings in GSL! Compare that to all the other coaches out there without any recent achievements selling lessons... <.<
Hahaha...the best part, at the end, the dude accidentally blinked all his stalkers on to the cliff to fight the ultras and totally won the game that way, the koreans were impressed
Cella y u so funny. That video was hilarious made my night. "Send void ray back time to sleep go back home" No wonder Slayer_S team doing so well haha.
I really enjoyed watching that actually, was hilarious when they scream over tiny little things like not going up the zerg ramp hahaha! WTB lesson from cella + team!
LOL not incredibly useful as actual coaching except for a few tips i think, but still an awesome experience definitely worth paying for. I love how enthusiastic they all were over the game

One of the best coaching sessions ever, with the whole slayers protoss team cheering him on! SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good and I bet that guy didnt even realise that the awesome toss' of slayers were watching and cheering him on...telling him about his awesome control <3<3 thanks for the upload

Btw, that wasn't Alicia that took over. He is Kuma. :>
LOL. By buka/baka, he meant "f*cker" lol. (krn pronunciation ttm) He was not being serious with the word at all. Idk why he repeats it so many times, though. Idk where he got it from, but when he says "yellow belly," he means scaredy-cat. I thought that was totally random.
Despite all that, though, I wouldn't consider him bad-mannered. When he says "fking pylon," he was actually quoting something (or someone). He didn't really care about the qq'er cussing @ him, too. Just took it as immature qqing & nothing else.
I wish to see him more often. His comments are just hilarious. Slayers members are so cute.
