i got very excited and happy when JanGBi won the series! :D
i got a bit emotional during the awarding, was about to bring a tear but didnt, felt my eyes a tiny bit wet though so i cant really vote on any of the options in the poll :D
during the award ceremony in the end when they played this song that made me feel nostalgic that the tournament ends... i became kind of sad, cuz it reminded me of that feeling i had when i watched a little from the begining of the pregame hype i felt like that would be (sorry for the negative comment) the last OSL matches we are going to watch in a long time... hope i am wrong and we are able to see some more OSL action ;D!

Nah man, crying is for wussies. Then again, I couldn't focus on last game that well from all the dust from monitor that got into my eyes. And onions too... fucking onions.
My eyes got a little wet, ya. Got the same feeling I had when Stork finally got his gold, and when Flash beat Movie. I had totally given up in the middle of game 5, and typed out an entire Damnitalltohell-post, and then he turned it around. So powerful. ^__^ Awesome storyline.
JANGBANG!
Damnit all to hell. This was set up to be one of the greatest storylines in BW history: Jangbang comes back from huge and derpessing slump, goes through tie-breakers, has to go up against the greatest player of all time and ape-smashes him, reaches a final for the first time in years, legend of the fall and all that, and then... loses like this and gets another silver. I'm so sad.
I must say though, that this was a great final. Brilliant. Grats to you Fanta!

Sad we didn't see a single storm though.
That's what I wrote during the game. XD
Lol I almost closed the stream to play poker halfway through game 5 cause I thought fanta had it.
I got pretty choked up. I was watching the finals in the breakfast room of a hotel, I managed to stop myself from yelling when Jangbi won but I half jumped out of my seat and fist pumped. Super awkward but super worth it.
also, due to the fact that I am at home and for some reason my old dads computer doesn't stream so well(can't handle it or something) I had to watch it in the common room.
fuck yeah i cried. it was so cathartic to see fantasy LOSE. one thing worse than his GG timing is his GG face. he just looks so dumb with his mouth half open.

lmao i was kinda like this, not specifically because fantasy lost but because of the beautiful game and build-up that lived up to the hype

Yeah I feel like I've witnessed something special too, this kind of feeling I don't quite know how to explain it. But no one will take these feelings away, that much I know is true. Still buzzing from the win too
I want someone to upload the video they played at the end showing a load of the winners from years past. It didn't understand a word of it but it really made me smile seeing the emotion from the players.
Game 5 caused severe mood whiplash, it looked like it was over when Fantasy was shelling the starports and I was thinking of just closing the stream, but I kept watching and damn, am I glad I did. I jumped out of my chair and fist-pumped hard when Jangbi actually won.

I wasn't going to turn off the stream, but I was muttering to myself "it can't end this way... it can't end this way" and then when JangBi fought back the contain and started mining again, I had a little glimmer of hope that he could win, which got bigger and bigger as the game progressed until JangBi finally took the supply lead, at which point I was sure he could ride his advantage to victory. (only a little scared of those cloaked wraiths)
I forget when I started to tear up but it was sometime before JangBi took the supply lead, when I was thinking "oh my god, he's actually going to pull this off"
I am a Terran player and a Fantasy fan But I have to admit. When Jangbi showed his mental fortitude in that game 5, his refusal to accept defeat, his fighting spirit, I found myself wanting Jangbi to make a comeback and win.
I respect perseverance and fighitng spirit in competition. And I was glad Jangbi was rewarded for it.
I really don't watch Brood war, but I happened to be up for the finals, and decided to give it a go. Most epic games/series of any sport I have ever seen. I don't know Jangbi's story, but I could not stop shaking of excitement. This might have converted me to BW.

Oh, and I did a lot of this! XD I screamed and jumped so that my dad thought I was going insane.
Wtf holg, since when where you a battle cruiser. Also, since when do you have like 10000000 posts!?
Just recently became one. :D It's a great feeling. ^__^ And the number of posts is linked to my new motto in life (''Quantity over quality'').
Damn good motto. I might have to start following that to be a muta ^^

Yea that was epic. The ending montages are always one of my favorite parts of the OSL

The sad thing is that any SC2 player that ignore BW just always miss these things. It's cool to see that you have been able to enjoy it that much. BW is a fantastic game and this final is another proof.

I didn'tw atchin the finals and I'm drunk wbut fucking hell go Jangbi I didn't cry but my emtoions are storng y'all, even spoiling mysefl. H efiddi it!!!!
I tuned in after Game 1, saw it was 1:0, was happy and settled down for the evening's entertainment. Game 4, when JB could have won the game (or drawn), I was shaking all over and F5'ing the LR thread like mad (because TL commenters are so insightful, haha). Didn't quite shed tears, though, even when he gg'd out.
But Game 5 was too damn much. When JB almost lost my head was in my hands and eyes were watering (although that may be from watching too much awesome), but when he somehow, magically, out of nowhere, unexpectedly, against all odds, fighting his uphill battle, struggling against the torrential current (OK, I'll stop with the cliches), came back and took the lead I have to admit a tear (or two, but all manly) rolled into the deep, dark crevasses of my keyboard.
And people are talking about a winner's montage which the damn Chinese restream cut out. Anyone got a video link that'd work behind the Great Firewall?
I got in game 5 >< but the ending of that match, I was crying while jumping around fist pumping. Pretty sure my girlfriend is now converted to BW <3 Jangbi has saved Brood War, Protoss + Show Spoiler +
I got teary eyed midway through Game 5 somewhere around the crying Khan fan and the fan's cheering JangBi's name. That's saying a lot because I don't get emotional when a hometown sports team wins championships!
My heart was racing all through the comeback. There were many fist pumps to be had.

me 2, i was fistpumping for every tank that got wiped with carriers, and the last game made me sweat.
This. I was rooting like hell both for beloved Auir and for JangBi himself. So glad to have seen him not give up even when he went through that mind-boggling 25% win rate span of games. Then to come back and win an OSL, awesome!
Didnt cry but was really close . I was really raging so hard in the 5th game when Fantasy was owning our hero but thank god for that comeback. Never been so happy in my BW life like today.
this was my first time watching OSL finals live and im amazed and awestruck. The games were epic, the storyline was as well.
I woke up at 11am (an hour before the finals according to my local time), while still drunk, having gotten home around 5am. TOTALLY WORTH IT.
The games were epic, especially 4 and 5 O__O Still surprised and happy about how Jangbi managed to come back in that last game and how Fantasy just crumbled.
I didnt cry... but i got cold shivers when game 5 ended! :D
Definitely going to watch a lot more BW content now, before this i just watched very sporadically, whenever i happened to be on TL while PL or SL was on :F
and the stream chat on Grobyc channel was hilarious :D
Some of the most exciting StarCraft I've seen in years, maybe ever. Seriously it was so good I can't believe it. The Chef curse is broken! And boy did he fucking work for it :O

Yea was never a big fan of Jangbi ( although he was hella sick PvT circa 2008 ) but those last two games were so tense. Winning an OSL after slumping so hard is impressive, especially if you remember how Fantasy demolished Stork the last time. Legend of the Fall ~

Jangbi won this OSL in 29 games. Well-fought at every point along the way, right up until the end. There were plainly no nerves in this final from either player.
