So im trying to resize an image. And like I made the canvas bigger to fit the dimensions. I then select a part of the pic and resize it to fit into the larger canvas. The thing is, this fucking checkerboard canvas background is opaque or soemthing and on the top layer??? I cant see my pic over this fucking checkerboard lol.

Anyways... I have this image thats 1200 x 800 or whatever. I want to make it 1366 x 768 or so. Anyways I was able to increase the canvas size to 1366. I then selected a portion of the image to stretch it out to fit the canvas. But the canvas has this checkerboard shit. I cannot see the part of my resized image that is on top of that checkerbaord part. Actually.. i might just go do this in paint. :/ tried to learn something new but this shit is not very intuitive lol

there should be a dotted line on the canvas that indicates the size of the layer you currently have selected in the layers window it makes a lot more sense if you've used photoshop or something similar before anyways easy solution is to just go to images -> scale image instead of images -> canvas size and setting the image size to whatever yo r u still in the phillipines let's play bw sometime or something i've been thinking about playing dnf too so i can remember why it was terrible and i quit

yea i haven't seen u in a while man, when r u getting out of the phillipines? i guess it's only been a year or two so far, bad internet sux tho man all i remember was that dnf was really fun, i don't remember why i quit maybe it was too grindy or something? but the level cap was really low so idk if that actually mattered yo battlemages need way too many levels and items and i couldn't afford the +attackspeed stuff i wanna start again since i heard they removed fatigue and useful avatars are cheaper since they're no longer random
