Well, as always i decided to wait a while until I had enough content to post, although I may have waited too long. Hope the amount of stuff here doesnt bore you to death. Things have changed a bit, broke up with GF, brother got married, and Im trying to stream every chance I get! C&C welcome as always!
Environment color test speedpaints These were all painted in between 30min~1hour, and were mainly done in lunch times. I think i need more of these to study environments, color, and try to loosen up my technique. + Show Spoiler +
Sketches from my moleskin sketchbook Just a bunch of sketches from my work sketchbook. Been filling it out on meetings and free time + Show Spoiler +
Character speedpaints and color tests (including weird self portrait.) Just a bunch of random character sketches for practice. + Show Spoiler +
Hope to see you soon Will post another update soon!
I would love to get a decent computer set up for art, with a bit of knowledge on how to use it!! Had a cheap wacoom (sp) tablet and ended up getting rid of it.
Thanks for sharing Love to see what others are doing!

To be honest, I had no idea who Grobyc was! just googled him and he looks so cool :D Might make fanart of him. I didnt play Chrono Cross much , I did however play 50+hours on Chrono Trigger

I would say I've also played much, much more Chrono Trigger. At one point when I was younger I was able to "speedrun" the game in about 7 hours. That wasn't a dedicated speedrun though, that was just me getting bored and playing it over and over again. Anyways, Grobyc really fascinated me as my favourite character in Chrono Cross for whatever reason, and I was playing through it the time that I initially registered my TL account.
awesome stuff, I actually like the last speedpaint most because it's great when there's less going on and its still rough around the edges, even though the atmosphere is very present
some one of your caliber doesn't need to wait that long :D I'm interested in painting too and would be so dam proud if I have one of your speedpaints as a finished work of mine.
it's from a calatonian show, (alguna pregunta més?) that I watch to learn spanish and laugh haha.
The first 30s scene is my favourite:
And a bonus:D
I've been using them as emoticons with my sister for a while but I've just found out that 1 of my spanish friend has almost a clip in every fb comment with her friend and with me too so I realised few months ago that I'm not alone hahaha.
Enjoy and if they've infected you too let me know hahaha. People have complied playlists of APM emoticons hahaha + Show Spoiler +
I'm laughing so much now because I haven't been watching it for a long time but I watched a few while trying to find the first link for you
hmph you cheated with the floor any speed paint time lapse videos? I actually like the self portrait the most :D thanks for the brushes. sorry for being a noob but you're using photoshop right? I only have gimp
Yes I use photoshop The floor as well as most of the texture work on this painting was based off of photos, then painted a shit load of stuff on top of it. It is mostly for the startup detailing process to quickly set up up texture and serves as a guide to start painting stuff on top. Common practice on the digital art field, not cheating
Mountains in the back have same process, and stairs I made them in 3d, textured them, rendered out, put them in, and painted on top of them.
