Amazing work, the way you draw every part and the come together to surpass every individual part is just.... incredible.

I mostly focused on her arm/chest trying to figure out whether that was a towel or a gull and then her face. similar to optical illusion, it depends on the way your mind process image and link it to a known structure. for this drawing 99% of people should have no problem immediately see the figure/structure. But some are just not wired to do this as quickly. for an extreme example, do you have trouble seeing what animal this picture is in spoiler? This is more optical illusion-ish, about 50% will have trouble with it, but a lot will also see the animal in under 10 sec, the further you step back the easier it is. + Show Spoiler + wow, thats a really cool picture, it took me like 12 seconds :O edit: AHAHA his name is parlortricks irony xD Yes, quite humorous. I spent a good two minutes looking for the supposed animal and still can't see it so I gave up. There was this picture I saw in high school once where you were supposed to find a face in some beans and I never found it until it was pointed out to me. It's a + Show Spoiler + cow and if you still don't see it, well like they say, what is seen can't be unseen, once the connection is made it's there, see + Show Spoiler + are you sure it's not a panther eating a cow? + Show Spoiler +

Also, I know I'm a nobody and my opinion doesn't count because I don't know enough about art to spot 'good,' but you're pretty amazing to me. There may be an 'infinite number of better artist' but I haven't seen 'em! I think that's cuz most of them are not tech savvy (none-digital artists) and don't spend their time or know how to make/edit youtube videos and have the propensity to make it the way I do, with decent angle/lighting and always spending a shit tons of time finding matching music etc.. It's like I focus more on making videos that you can just come home, sit and watch, and your mind will be drawn/relax into for the next few minutes, instead of just focusing on some end result. I dunno, this is pretty much what I think.

It's like I focus more on making videos that you can just come home, sit and watch, and your mind will be drawn/relax into for the next few minutes, instead of just focusing on some end result. I dunno, this is pretty much what I think. I suppose that is possible, but don't you think that is part of the art? I mean, I'm sure you want your portraits (what I always see you drawing) to stand on their own artistic merit, and I think they do, but the videos are something as well. You might think, "Well, no big deal, anyone could do that." But, couldn't anyone just look at someone else's face and then copy exactly what they see? Nope. Because, in order to do that, you have to see so accurately, even a "pixel" could throw the entire thing off, that person's face in your mind. You can't stare at another photo forever. Eventually you have to look at the drawing you are working on and see it again on that canvas. Frankly, I'm astonished that it's even possible, that just by looking at someone, or having looked at someone, that anyone could use their mind to move their hand using some crude tool to draw what so many others would testify is nearly a perfect representation of that person. See, what you imagine when you recall someone in your mind is not what the rest of us see. You see it with such precision, I think it would take another artist to appreciate it. So, I don't know where I was going with all that, but even without the videos, I think your work is amazing, but I don't want you to discount your videos as trivial by themselves. note: I see now where I got off track, but I'm hitting post anyway, lol.

Yes or no, this is still ridiculously and incredibly good. I think I read in a blog a long while back that there are multiple drawings before the "finished" one? Like a ton of practice drawings before the filmed one is even started. Could be 100% wrong here, for some reason I remember that reply.
