CLARIFICATION: You are actually quoting Dr. Thomas Wayne (Batman's Dad), who would later be repeated later by Alfred (this is all in Batman Begins). Just wanted to point it out so that we all get the full effect of your quote, as it occurs at two pivotal moments in the story. (Ah, who am I kidding. I just look for any excuse to talk about Batman Begins quotes ) But back on topic - time for Liquid to rise again! #Liquidrising

Take a page from Envy and let your actions do the talking instead of your blog posts. 1) Fluff and Envy are two different people. 2) It's not like Fluff is only just talk. He's backing it up with the appropriate 'walk' as well, as detailed by steps and actions he's outlined in the post. We don't know if he will fail or succeed, but you can't deny he is also actively trying. So really, he has already taken the metaphorical page from Envy. We have to give things time to play out. 3) Like you've said yourself; there IS a need for him to explain himself. You can interpret Fluff's post as simply needy, or you can also understand that there is no doubt many of us who want clarification on certain matters affecting the team as a whole. This spotlight, for better or worse, shines on the entire team as much as it does on Fluff himself. To imply Fluff's post serves only himself would indicate tunnel vision about the whole situation. Although on the surface this is an apology from Fluff, it is also a PR statement for his team and liquid as an organisation as well. Fluff's post is part explanation about himself and part the collective voice of his team clarifying their intent, future and direction together. Actions are powerful, but that's not to discount the importance of 'talk'/explanations/clarifications. The two are not mutually exclusive. It is better that they go hand in hand as it minimises the scope of speculation and conjecture and really serves as a rallying force and voice for those who do support liquid. In any case, I'm glad it's all sorted out. Fight on, Fluff! Fight on, Liquid!

All their losses and failures in the last couple of months have really demoralized and almost alienated their supporters it seemed (i.e., me). This might have been a mess at the beginning, and it might have hurt some people in the process although not deliberately, but nazgul's response and fluff manning up to it has at least shed light to the teams struggles, and it is very comforting to know that they are taking MASSIVE steps to curbing the problems. Good luck everyone, and yes, see you guys in TI4.

because imagine you were kicked? what would you do? who wants some not that skilled guy (compared to the big skillers in NA,EU and especially china) who is all about being the savior of his team leading them to glory with visions and epic leadership to stand there and smile in his shiny armor. for me most of this blog is just damage control like people always do when they are closed to being kicked.and of course your typical 1000 promises and ideas that will revolutionize EVERYTHING. how about just the damage control apology and instead of the rest you just show actions? you know like real actions, making your team own and not your old habits. not things like "will do this, and that, sacrifces here there and bridges! communication, best version of team EVA.". like i said thank god everyday and get your shit together. best of luck for your team

But, maybe, in the end, it will turn out to have been a good decision to post what you did before. What if the team as a whole would have been unable to get the motivation/boost required to achieve a TI4 victory from purely internal "decent" & "by the book" communications? Sometimes a child (a new team) needs a good kick in the arse to get going properly. The way you guys are dealing with your previous outburst makes me think that this is exactly what needed to be done. Like some people say: sometimes you need to act now and ask for permission later. There are more ways and potentionally better ways to phrase this, I will refrain from trying to find them all. I am sure people have said this before.

I dont feel like it was necessary to make all of this public. He could have written all of that to his teammates/TL management and it would have been the same. The management could have then found a way to make all of this public without unnecessary drama and emotions. Like just writing down who drafts/calls etc. and with reasoning why it is done. It is just unnecessary tension and makes the other members of TL feel uncomfortable if he posts something like this. But whatever, Just do what it takes to make your words more than just empty words and manage to qualify for TI4.

now can all you diary huggers get off his back, or what? can we get some fresh blood into the TL dota 2 team, or not? if you ask me, bulba's their only good player. fluff is still young though so there's the possibility he could improve. i'm not sure if he's genuinely a nice guy or if it's an act. if he is nice, he might be worth hanging on to. but the rest of the team for sure isn't worth hanging onto other than bulba.

It's good to be really introspective when shit gets hairy in a team environment. It's easier to blame people than to look at oneself and ask "What am I doing wrong? What can I do to make things better? Where do I fit in, and what are my strengths and weaknesses?". You become a much more powerful asset to your team when you focus on your job.

I don't understand why some are offended by these recent posts though. Fluff has always been like this, and we all saw Liquid tanking so it isn't so surprising that he'll share his thoughts on something that important.

People are generally quite good at finding a reason to be angry on the Internet, or focusing incessantly on a single negative aspect of an otherwise positive event. Hell, sometimes they don't even need a reason to be mad. Granted, FLUFF did fuck up by letting impulse and emotion override his responsibilities toward Nazgul and to his teammates. But it takes personal strength to admit you fucked up and to continually work toward erasing further mistakes, and that is something I feel FLUFF will do (and has done) most admirably. Reminds me of that old quote about how people will remember an individual not for his many successes, but for his single failure.

Seriously, if we were to construct a toxicity scale for Dota players, TC would be at the very bottom. I don't think he's ever flamed anyone for as long as he's been playing Dota 2. He's actually like the most mannered professional player.

You could drink soda until your teeth all rot out. You enjoy drinking the soda. Does the fact that you enjoy that soda automatically mean that the soda is not toxic for you? In the same way, just because TC and Fluff enjoy playing together, that doesn't automatically mean it is good for Fluff's career to be playing with him.
