i was playing a game of battlefield bad company 2 when the administrator was baseraping RU spawn, so i asked him to stop and i got kicked...
The gameserver clearly stated that "baseraping was not allowed"
i then went to their website and posted that he had been baseraping with video, and since he was an admin on the web page he just banned me from their web page...
what would you do if this happened to you, say if an admin did it to you on tl.net?

Your options:
1: Leave 2: Learn hacking and take revenge 3: Inspire every one else to leave his server, his website, and to spread the evidence far and wide. Make every one spam his forum with the video. Spread the word. Start a revolution.

Somehow I misread this blog and thought it was a complaint blog against TL Moderation (since two of your recent threads got closed). Then I went back and read it again and saw that the topic had nothing to do with TL. Then I checked a third time and saw the last line.
Anyway, what you should do is leave the server immediately, never look back, find new friends, even a new game, where everyone can enjoy their experiences without idiots completely ruining it for them (unless they're really sensitive or something). Explore the new world you find yourself in. Live new lives. Become another person. People like that admin will stick around forever and never learn anything until either their server is completely deserted due to everyone hating this guy or he himself is caught and forever banned. He will not learn as quickly as you have with my advice.
Since you probably won't do all of that, you should either start looking online for a new server while sucking it up on the old one, or by endlessly complaining until you get permanently banned (I don't recommend the latter). No matter what, it's unlikely you'll maintain interest on the server you're playing in so you should definitely take some sort of action described above.
I definitely wouldn't hack unless they stole from you or did something extremely personal.

Hmm, I sure hope this isn't related to those two closed threads from earlier today. TL.net has a very good moderation system. Unfair warnings/bans/thread closures can easily be appealed by (politely!) messaging another moderator or posting in the Website Feedback Forum. Additionally, people are not generally accepted as moderators until they prove that they understand exactly how moderation works on this site and that they are reliable/trustworthy, so abuse of power is extremely rare.

Users should not be afraid of their admins; admins should be afraid of their users.

OP, just leave the server and find another one to play on imo. The alternative is to fight it but not worth it imo.

i haven't played bc2 in a few months but it seemed like there was always a pretty good selection of servers. why not just join another one? is there more to this story, like some kind of clan drama?

Blackmail. Capture Elly. Keep that elephant in the basement. Go Guantanamo on it. Take pictures. Write demands. Publish. Works rather well.
