I have this cool interactive card game / guild manager idea that I want to try out. It should force me to draw more and help with efficiency, speed. This can become a serious project or just be a learning experience. Anyway I hope that it is fun and you’ll want to play along.
Awesome part is that you can suggest your own character. It can be approved to the group and made into card. Characters fight, do quests, improve, develop new skills, get injured, sick and will die or retire eventually. Creators can make decisions for their cards. Everyone else can suggest where the group (game) should be going and vote for major decisions.
There are no strict classes. Everyone can fight. Try to be more realistic for starters. Characters should have positive and negative traits.
World is set from late medieval age to the newer ages. Theme is dark and realistic. There is place for technology, magic and other themes. World will be built around your decisions.
Story follows a young guy who thinks he is tough enough to own and manage his own company. Will he succeed or fail? What kind of people is he looking for? Will you help him?
Essential part is backgrounds. There are 7 and they will decide a lot. (Character can have 1 – 3 of them.)
Poll: Company theme is...?(Vote): 1) Church – priests, inquisition, devotion, fanaticism... (Vote): 2) Nobility – scholars, ruling, artifacts, pride… (Vote): 3) Guild – merchants, trading, technology, greed… (Vote): 4) Legion – warriors, fighting, glory, blood thirst… (Vote): 5) Free folk – adventurers, travelling, beasts, wild… (Vote): 6) Underworld – criminals, felonies, stealth, ego… (Vote): 7) Darkness – sinners, agendas, unholy, risk…

I think the titles should be a little different. The company theme should be more about its concept then what its backstory theme is. . How about 1. Crusader 2. Lancers 3, Nomad 4. Regiment 5. Freemen (I don't understand this concept perhaps more of like a border unit such as a forest watch or something) 6. Enforcer 7. Bandit
that being said I think its an amazing idea and I've always wanted a simulation for something like that.

It is suppose to mean very open themes and not a strict class.

Ok, start is rough. Everyone things it’s a joke or not worth their time. I get it. I have no experience, no name, no money, but we’ll see about that.
I managed to recruit several people: Sermo seems to be a bright man, well read, has some skills, but does not talk much about himself. Coagal is weird a guy, came to me with some old rusty bronze equipment. Anyway, he has good physique and a lot of enthusiasm, maybe we can make something out of him. Luke is an ordinary rower who has a drinking problem.
Now let’s talk about talk the job. The only one that I got is a dirty one. City has a serious rat problem. So someone has to go to the sewers and kill them. Work is dirty, payment is low and not even safe. There are some huge ratmen down there that can tear grown man apart.
Rats tend to run away from a bigger group of people, but it is safer to stay close.
Poll: What to do?Stay close, be safe and earn low. (1) 25% Split group, take risks and maximize profit. (0) 0% Get down to lower levels and hunt ratman. (3) 75% Other idea.. (0) 0% 4 total votes Your vote: What to do? (Vote): Stay close, be safe and earn low. (Vote): Split group, take risks and maximize profit. (Vote): Get down to lower levels and hunt ratman. (Vote): Other idea..

I vote we immediately purge these rat men abominations from the face of the earth.
