The default mode of the game is this: Protoss wins. Terrans will struggle and try their best. But in the end the game marches towards: Protoss wins.
Years ago, when SC2 first came out, the Zerg and Protoss cried imba all over. "Terran is too strong and need to be nerfed, our race is too weak". Turns out their race wasn't bad at all, they just needed to learn to play.
Terran learned to play faster, and gave us all the excitement from watching MVP, MMA, MarineKing, Innovation, Maru compete.
Let's not forget about Puma who used a simple 1/1/1 strategy to crush noob Protosses. It took the Protoss months to learn to play and beat that simple strat, but not before it was harshly nerfed.
The stuff that Zest is doing today was invented by MC and refined by Rain. The mass powering build that has no drawbacks whatsoever with Photon Overcharge. The overpowered warp prism harass that saw Rain do nothing but make warp prisms against DRG, as soon as DRG moved out a whole army warped into his base.
It's the same shyt, different era. And boring as hell.
Protoss now has godly early, mid and late game. With all the Terran's tools nerfed, it's a desperate struggle every time. What's the point in watching?
If only Protoss learned to play when SC2 came out, at least it would be more interesting now.
