Ok so after a couple blog attempts I know how to use this site a little better.
@ Mods feel free to merge my other blogs into this one, but I want to keep this one as clean as possible and only have my StarCraft 2 game into one big blog journal
From bronze to what ever I get too.
I feel comfortable against the computer but get too greedy against real players and here is my journey.
I'm learning something new every time I play the game.
points to remember
* I'm playing as Terran until I get comfortable and start winning
* I have to remember about early cheese rushes and learn to defend against them
* I have to only worry about 3 main bases early and don't try to cheese rush myself < it's to distracting
Here is my Game Ranked 6th game
Edit: No games will be edited all games will be recorded and unedited as I go along < no mics as of yet but in future, I'll get mic
You can't make it open just for us. Either you set it on private or you don't. Private means that only you and Youtube users you've chosen can watch it. You might want to set it on "not listed", that comes closest to what you're looking for.
i think when your at that level over-analyzing your play can be big waste of time as the number one reason you lost that game was your macro.
At the beginning of the game you build a bunch of extra supply depots to wall off when your scouting showed you nothing was coming you say his gateway so there was no proxy ( i know your probably worried about cheese but you have to remember there is limited amount of things that can kill you at that point in the game) . You could have thrown a cc down and had extra barracks at the same time. Also don't queue your units thats just money not doing anything.
If i were you i would just practice doing Fast expand into a bunch of barracks. Concentrate on not getting supply blocked and get a bunch of units. Don't worry about unit composition and for the love of god play a lot of games. Your not gonna get better watching a bunch of replays at your level you need to get faster and you get faster by playing a lot. Once you get a better foundation you can worry more about builds and counters and what not.
@ iamperfection. Thanks for the advise, atm I've only got a bout 1 hour a day to practice, sometimes more so it's not a lot of time and I also play other games too.
I've been practicing just a basic build all week this week for about an hour each day still need practice against the computer on easy.
My goal has been to get most if not all buildings out, a 2nd CC and a small army by the 10 minute
would this be ideal to practice?
This video below is what I've been practicing,
At the end of the match ignore the fact I hotkey some of my scv's with my buildings lol
Here is the practice match against computer, all these videos will be unedited and unlisted on youtube
Let me know if this video doesn't work, it should as it's unlisted.

Yeh totally agree, it was mostly to see if I can get all buildings and an army out by 10 minute mark.
I've been practicing since, but been playing mostly doom in my spare time. I've had 2 jobs last couple weeks so haven't had much of it.
A new video will be coming soon. I'll try and do one each week, but we'll see how time goes for me. I only play about an hour a day if that atm.
Played my 6th ranked match on Saturday night after a few drinks. Probably could have one after the first attack, but didn't push on and the guy had dark knights I think they're called from memory.
Question to all: How do you show the life bars on all your units and buildings?
I hotkey most things and still don't show up?
Have looked through the options and the life bars don't show up???
Question two.
I usually have all my SCV's in one hotkey under 4 and I feel ok doing this right now.
How ever when I hotkey all my scv's and create say a couple buildings how do I get those 2-4 scv's to go back to mining minerals/gas with out having to click on individually ???
For life bars, go to options > gameplay settings > Show Unit Status Bars > Always
There's no need to hotkey SCVs, as you should just use your CC hotkey or the idle worker button. However, shiftclicking on minerals after issuing a build command should work,
It was getting frustrating when I hotkeyed all my scv's to 4 and then get a couple of them to make buildings, I'd hold shift for them to go back to minerals/gas or what ever and all the scv's would go to that one place, lucky I'm only practicing easy on computer for now
