Played a shit ton of games since I last posted, but also been really busy lately with college apps. Got Master 1 (5034 MMR) pretty much instantly after I posted my last post, that was fun. Have all my builds down, my macro has been really solid lately, just some shitty decisions against bad players costing me a lot of MMR lately (lose -34 for trying to go LB->BL against mech, etc.). Currently at 4960 though, not too bad, but would like to get 5k and just sit there until the end of the season to make sure I place Master 1 again next season at the start. Coming into a time where I will not (nor should I) be playing a ton of SC2.
Been really busy with stuff outside of SC2, but that seems to have helped me really enjoy playing, having the most fun since I started playing. Been able to stop doing unranked/arcade/other shit if I want to have fun, really contributed to solidifying my mechanics at a higher level. Playing lots of ranked with less time is a big improvement.
OSC participation is going to be shitty until after November, I'll just be happy with 3rd at this point. Not much I can do, can't necessarily drop everything at random times on the weekends to play tourneys right now.
Goals:
Maintain 5k MMR (That's it, not expecting too much when I have a lot of outside stuff to do)
Goal update from first post:
Hit the 4950 mark
