And Ken got 25th in singles, one of his highest placings since his prime ended, and 9th in doubles with Santiago. I think it's cool to know that he (more or less) stood the test of time, and that even though he retired at one point, he still desired the competition and came back.
That link is a link to Ken and KoreanDJ's introduction to Liquid. In it, Ken says "I'd be lying to myself if I said I didn't want to compete. I do want to compete." That kinda stuck with me, because competition is exciting for me. Whether it's offline or online, whether I'm playing, commentating, or just spectating, I enjoy the competitive scene, because it brings something out in me that I never thought I'd see without it. It brings out the real me.
