A few months later (in 2003, I think) a glimmering hope arrived when my friend showed me a highlight of Starcraft. Though I had forgotten which highlight it was (probably boxer), my eagerness had overwhelmed me. That day I set a vow, to become much better than I was previously.
I started reading teamliquid.net in 2003, and out of that whole time I just remembered one poster by the name of Waxangel or Waxsnore something like that. The reason why I remembered him the most was because at that time I was into Pokemon, and Snorelax was his icon. That and he was a good poster too. Well, I had learned about many things in teamliquid.net that I had trained and trained with.
One of the many things I learned was 1a2a3a4a5a6a7a8a9a0a, signifying hotkeyed units to attack. I remember that I was pretty bad at it, and so I trained 2 days almost nonstop. My fingers were so damn sore that I felt I had broken them. Among the other things was also pressing GLHF (goodluckhavefun), and pressing F10 esq (F10= main menu, Exit S(forgot) Quit). I believed that by practicing these that my control of my keyboard will improve.
