Don't you hate it when you talk on the phone, and the other person hangs up, or drops, and you keep talking? It isn't so bad if you are finishing up anyways, but when you keep talking for about 5 minutes, then wonder...why are they being so quiet. oh.... -_- And when they call back and apologize you have no idea where you left off. I know its probably my fault for talking so damn much taht I can keep going for 5 minutes, but still.
A couple nights ago I was talking to a friend of mine at camp about this very subject. I was telling her a story about how one time a guy dropped on me and bam. Somewhere in the story she dropped and I had no clue when. When she called me back I didn't know what to say, and eventually we moved on to a new topic.

I hate it when I'm on a phone with someone while playing a game. That someone doesn't realize I'm not really listening and keeps talking for 5 minutes or more, and then there's finally a pause in the talking - I realize he's expecting me to say something, but I have no clue what he's been talking about. So I hang up and call back and pretend I dropped my phone a few minutes ago.

I hate it when I make a joke, and then the other person responds as if it's not a joke, so I'm not sure whether to treat him like an idiot or tell him it was a joke, so that he can tell me that I'm an idiot because he was only extending the joke by pretending not to understand that it was a joke.

My phone is always getting dropping people. It's to the point where everytime there's a long silence I'll go "hello? hello?" to be sure they're still on the line. I don't know why I get such bad reception in my room =(. If you know how to fix it, let me know please.

my gf talks for like 15 mins at a time without letting me respond. One of these days I should just turn the phone off and see if she notices

HAHAHAHA WOMEN WILL BE WOMEN

Here, a real thing that I hate (and kind of silly too, which fits):
Mirror-finish walls on elevators. Every damn surface is a mirror finish. If I'm the only occupant, that's fine, I don't care. But if someone else gets on, no matter where I'm looking at, unless it's directly into one of the walls (then I'm seeing my ugly self), I'm seeing that person's ass or the top of his head or into her shirt. Gimme something else to look at for gossake. Particularly embarassing when it's a cute girl and our eyes meet through N reflections.

Just go like "Hey" and smile and hope to hell your smile doesn't look really creepy

Every once in a while I decide to tell a story or something and AT&T decides tis is a great time to drop me

This has happened to me,
My girlfriend, on her way home from her campus often drove down this one long road with lots of trees and she liked to call me on her way home because it was a long drive. This one road in particular always dropped the connection a few moments after she got on it so here I would be sitting at home reading TeamLiquid (<3) and talking (Multi-task wut) when suddenly I would realize no one was there. I quickly learned that this particular route she was taking was bad for her connection and to expect dropped calls when she got there. But all and all, it did happen to me.

i hate it when a person has bad reception and i can't hear them, but i can just barely hear them so i can't say "you have bad reception". then i'm just like "uh huh... uh huh... yaaaa.... uh huh" and 50% of the time, I don't even know what they are saying.

Doesn't your phone beep when the connection terminates?

I hate this too. Or you hear every other word so you look like a moron because it takes you a bit to figure out what they are saying.
