I just got access to a computer / internet again for the first time in two and a half months due to being in Navy Bootcamp, and since I know there are plenty of people that are bored at work or school and browsing Teamliquid.net, I thought I'd ask a favor. To get to the point, what have I missed? Two months is a lot of games, were there any amazing ones, any pimpest plays? I'm going to have a little bit of free time every night to watch them so I thought I'd ask for some suggestions. Feel free to give me any other news; winners of leagues, news on NonY and Idra, Teamliquid events, etc. etc.
Yes, I understand I could do this all myself and just look through previous threads but that takes a lot of time that I don't have so thats why I'm asking for this favor. I have to go for now but I'll be back to read the responses later, thanks a lot to anyone who contributes and if anyone has any questions or comments feel free to add them too. For everyones sake please put game results in spoilers if they are recent so no one who doesn't want to see the results gets suprised by them when going to this blog.
A few key questions: How are Much and Sea.Really doing / Whats the news on Tasteless doing the documentary or whatever? / News on Boxer? / Is Savior destroying everyone 2009? / How is GOM going? / Are there any new stars or rising players to look at?
Much got eliminated from MSL and OSL I believe. Sea.Really is actually doing decent got 2-0 on Iris and Movie in WL yesterday, but then he faced Savior.

Yes, Yes he is, watch Shinhan WL Estro vs CJ, Sea.Really vs Savior. Game of the year..
The proleague format changed to a bo7 all-kill. It's interesting, and is totally fucking with the fantasy proleague...haha. The rankings change constantly due to players getting streak points like mad.
Anyway, the new format is also fucking some teams over and saving other ones. KTF is doing REALLY well, as Luxury somehow simply excels with this format, and Samsung somehow just plain sucks. They're like 1-3 or something so far. ACE is doing well too...I think they're 2-1 or something?
The OSL and MSL are looking very strong...lots of big names, and lots of interesting matchups in the group stages. Go check on the content threads.
For recent games...I actually can't remember all that many, but DEFINITELY look for savior's game against Bisu in the MSL I believe?
Also in proleague, -Luxury's all-kill against Samsung in week 1 (FOUR WINS IN A ROW STARTING WITH A COMPLETE ASS RAPE OF JANGBI) -savior vs Leta on tau cross (they took out requiem finally and put this one in) -savior vs ANYONE this proleague -Jaedong vs Fantasy on Sin Chupung Ryeong*(DEFINITELY watch this one), -Fantasy vs Jangbi on Medusa -Hmm...I can't think of any more.
Check the small VOD thread...they usually keep up pretty well. Also, Haji also started the liquid plays '09, so they should have all the good recent games on there. (:
You know I haven't heard about the documentary thing in a long time either. Wonder what's been up with that.
Sea.Really isn't making any huge steps forward, but Upmagic sure is.
EDIT: And Reach is being a massive hero this season. His live report thread for ACE vs KTF was so hilarious to read and watch. Reach+Anytime basically carrying ACE.
The winners league format has been interesting, here is an airforce samsung game with reach and stork the series was great check out the rest of the games I highly recomend it
The new winner's league format is amazing- instead of the old 1v1 format (preselected lineups, first to 3 wins), we now have the all kill fomat in winners league, which lets the winner keep playing. It makes for some very exciting nights, with some of the best players playing multiple games.
Hot: flash, savior (again), jangbi, free, (figure out who the six dragons are -_-;, anytime, fantasy proleague, fantasy (he's new)

Zergs have been doing fine actually. Savior is destroying, the twins are doing very well, Jaedong is still Jaedong, July appears to be on top of his game again, and there are promising up-and-comers like Zero and Effort.

Thats true, but only partially. Zergs are strong again in zvp, and GETTING better with the new mech zvt. They've definitely gotten past the worst of it, but a t is still heavily favoured against another generic z, if its a mech favoured map. Progress is being made though.
