It'll take time and a lot of unnecessary stress/pain, but later on I guarantee you'll get through it and feel even better about yourself. At the very least you did it, making that one potential regret you can permanently scratch off your list. I can't say I've done as much every time. :\ Anyway...just don't go too heavy on the alcohol. Eventually you get over her and you will end up happier with someone else. It sucks, and it's happened to most people before.

i was born in HCM city and immigrated when i was 4 or 5. i ask about jobs in vietnam and i hear that the pay isnt much, even for a doctor. also, it doesnt help that inflation was double digits the past decade or so. good luck with your studies!

I know I have to get over it, but I kinda expected her to be more sympathetic. I gave her my heart after all. I'm listening to "Rhythm of the rain", this song is so fit with my situation!. bro your not alone man everyone got rejected even me i regret it and i had felt sad for even a month about it but i got over it. most of it anyways but yea you're find someone eventually

you don't 'confess' to girls. Think about that. Who wants to hear a confession? It sends a message that you are 'guilty' of liking her, like its some wrong thing. No matter how gooey a girl makes you feel inside, you don't just lay all your cards out on the table like that, you're setting yourself up for sure rejection. You set yourself up to be a 'sure bet' that she could fall back on should she not get what she wants, but she'd never fall back on you. As much as you may hate it, you have to play 'the game'. You give a little, take away a little. Just be funny, sweet (but not overbearing) and eventually you'll get inside her head. Eventually things escalate to a point where you both are crazy about each other, and then you just kiss her. After that, you don't play games and if she rejects you or your kiss, you take it all away and THEN see how she reacts. If the girl REALLY doesn't care then move on. Chances are by that point she's yours. This is just the nature of the way we're all sexually and psychologically screwed up. Obviously it gets deeper than just that, but I've had my share of successes and failures. Once you get it, you get it. Best of luck bro

Well, I dunno about Vietnam, but that kinda thing does happen in Korea. There are lots of ways to start relationships there. Your scenario also sounds ridiculous specific and circumstantial.

This sort of thing is pretty universal: people want to feel they are "doing well" in love, as in: dating someone of equal or higher value. When you come on too strong you are saying you think the other person is way higher value than you - so their natural reaction is to run & try to do better. This conversation reminds me of the scene in the silly movie "Hitch", with the young Will Smith (Alex) falling for Cressida, who decides to cheat on him with someone more... baller: Alex: I love you. I love you so much. Cressida (looking uncomfortable): I love you, too, Alex. Alex (getting more pathetic): I know you don't love me as much as I love you. But that's okay. I'm just glad you love me at all. Older Alex (narrating): In retrospect, I guess I may have come on a little strong. But the experience taught me a lot. Alex (looking at Cressida making out in car with baller ): Cressida! What are you doing? Cressida: I'm sorry, Alex. Alex (pathetic looking getting soaked in the rain looking into the car): But I love you. What did I do wrong? Just tell me what I did wrong. Baller: Dude, you're doing it right now! Cressida: Alex, I'm sorry.

Yeah, that sucks any way you slice it. from the way it sounds you already kinda dealt your hand, so now best advice is just play it cool. Be a friend but you know, you got rejected, you're not getting what you want, so she shouldn't get all she wants (the best friend type). try not to get too hung up on it. have no regrets and learn from your experience. lots of smokin' hot girls out there for all of us :D
