Tonight i was called from +556281878722 several times around 0420 GMT+1. Anyone knows where +55 comes from?
wikipedia tells me it might be an expensive-to-call number form the UK: "Any telephone number starting 09xx is charged at premium rates, in a similar fashion to a 900 number in North America. Previously the main virtual prefixes for premium rate phone calls were 0898 and 0891 along with some others (such as 0331, 0660, 0897). In the 1980s, when premium rate was introduced, the main prefixes were 0055, 0066 and 0077. Premium rate services in the UK can range from £0.10/min up to £1.50/min. Drop charge rates are also available which can cost the caller £0.10/call up to £1.50/call."
I'm curious.

I've had weird calls like this in the past too, once my friend called me from no more than 2 miles away but for some reason it went through some kind of relay station in Nigeria Gave the worst line ever.

Lol.. I remember receiving a call from Iraq one time.
I don't know anyone from there, and I can't even speak Arabic. So, I spent the entire call just saying random affirmations like "Yeah", "Uh-huh", "Of course", etc.. then he hanged up.
One day later I got an SMS in Arabic. I had to ask a guy at work for the translation, he told me that it was an invite to see Sayid's new home in Baghdad.
Later, a friend commented that a CIA plane is en route to capture me and drop me off in Guantanamo.
