Check out this video on the 4 Kids One Piece dub. No wonder it was canceled.
I'm still undecided on whether to stick and wait for the Funimation dubbed episodes to come out at about 15 episodes per 2-3 months or to go to the subbed and plow through OP in about a month. I'll probably wait.

all this time, I've lived in hope of telling you how sorry I am, I've fought armies, just to have this chance, but now, there's nothing I can say that's good enough
Omg. I watched it. Definitely not that great of a dub, although it's not terribad like some dubs.
Honestly, this is just a situation where you've gotten used to one set of voices, and new set feels weird. For me, that dub was pretty cringe-worthy throughout.
I'll say it again, you OWE it to yourself to get used to the sub and watch it.
(I know I said in the other blog, to watch it however you like best, but...... man, that was worse than I thought it'd be)

I actually thought by dub standards it wasn't bad considering... but... man it's as bad for us sub watchers as the subs are for you dub watchers (probably worse in fact lol)
Cowboy Bebop is an example of an anime with a pretty good dub.
Haste. Exalted. Flying. Deathtouch. Lifelink. Protection from Red.
But the Hamiltonian wasn't Hermitian!

Which, the 4Kids or the Funimation one?

I really like the Dubs in Trigun, but I can watch it subbed. I feel pretty much the same way about all the other animes I've watched. Most of the time it just depends on which I start with then I just get use to those voices.
edit: just watched the comparison video you put up and dear god that is some awful and unnecessary editing.

4Kids is a heaping pile of dog shit. I was referring to the Funimation dub when I said it wasn't that great.
