PvP Pylon Win!!!!!

1 pylon makes the difference......literally

This game was so close and funny that I just had to make a blog about it :D

Random iccup pub game a few minutes ago~
It started off just a normal pvp on heartbreak ridge.
I sent my gateway scout, and then used another probe to scout for some random proxies.
I went 2gate obs and transition into reaver -> expand.
He did a 3 gate goon; I felt kind of confident in my reaver micro lately so I decided to go for it.
When I got to his natural I saw nothing and heard a "OUR FORCES ARE UNDER ATTACK" (or something) and I was like.....LSADJFSLKADFLKSDAAF!!!
I couldn't really go back to save everything, so I was just like "well screw it. BASE RACE!!!!"

And it all came down to 1 pylon
Wonder if he's heartbroken, like the map? ;P

Hehe, that was pretty fun.

Although at the end, pulling out the probes would've been a good idea.

it was my first time in one of those situations~ >.>

well he kinda had everything contained with goons, so I just pylon spammed to buy some time~
it ended up working, no? xD

it's happened to me twice before too (except with a supply depot, not a pylon).

lol I had this other pvp where I sacrificed like 5 goons to kill the last observer and my last dt saves the day....~

Haha I've had quite a bit of these kind of games, fortunately I've won all of them cause I can't imagine how hard I'd rage if I lost. They're always really fun to play just cause your heart is pounding as you search for hidden buildings and you really, really don't want to lose your Shuttle or anything.

As much as I hated Heartbreak Ridge.. those kind of games were always fun.

heh, luckily I never had one of these games in PvP

I remember I had one for PvZ, except my army was significantly larger, so my gateway units killed most of his units before he could annihilate my main. I had 3 other bases (well cannoned too), and I knew I won. He knew that he lost, and was being very bm about it, and kept building extractors everywhere. Eventually I just gave him vision and built a heart of pylons. =D

someone posted a replay before of a pvp where they came within a single goon shot on their respective pylons.
