I too wish I could draw well, I'm always in awe whenever I watch those youtube videos where people draw from scratch and at the end it's like some master piece.
Drawing is definitely one of those things you can improve on if you put time into it (like most things I suppose), just got to put in the time. There's also youtube tutorials with basics and all if you really want to learn. I guess my desire to draw well isn't that strong that I'm willing to put several hours into it :/

He most certainly is, you should watch the video where he draws with both hands at the same time *mind blown*. I think that TV show Ripley's believe it or not wanted to feature him or something if I recall correctly.
found it for you, it's amazing.

Wow... I don't know if this makes me girl or not, but that is amazing. It just reminds me that the world is just such an amazing place. I don't know about you, but I've just recently come to learn to appreciate art, be it poetry, drawing, dancing, but it is just so amazing to someone like me. Art is just a completely different world, and an amazing one at that. I hope I can learn to do something artistic >.>

Practice. Nothing is based purely on talent. Practice hard and you can do well at drawing, or anything you put your mind to. Just focus on the basics at first, perspectives and whatnot, then work your way up the ladder once you start getting a feel for things. And make sure you enjoy it,

Mmm... I always thought that drawing was a very simple deal. You see, you pick up a pencil, and draw. I never ever thought that a piece of drawing would take more than 10 minutes to complete =3

Appreciating art doesn't make you girly (or manly) haha, and I agree that the world, and the people in it make it an amazing place to be. I'm sure you'll find something where you'll be able to express yourself in an artistic way, be it writing, drawing, or music. And when you do find that creative outlet make sure you share in in the TL blog section ^_^

I was simply amazed by Glider's art. Simply amazing and one of the best things about TSL 3.
edit:
the funny thing is that i cannot even WRITE well. My writing is as bad as my drawing, which is like pure mess.. (talking about handwriting here.)
Haha, my handwriting is schizophrenic sometimes too. I grip the pen so hard that my hand just aches after writing. Sometimes when I'm writing an essay, there are about 5 different kinds of handwriting >.> It's just so hard to stick to a standardized one for me.

3 months ago I had never drawn before in my life except for 5 little sketches that I drew a couple months before that. I myself had the mentality that either, you were born with talent or not. And for people without talent it is just very very difficult and unnatural to draw.
I am going to start study game design in the next couple of weeks and one of the courses is drawing. They said they start at nooblevel for the course and you don't need any drawing skills. But they said it would be wise to start drawing to gain a headstart. So 3 months ago I started drawing. 1 drawing per day was my goal for 2 months straight. I didn't miss a day. What I found is that as long as you practice enough, anyone can draw. I am way nooblevel though but I would have never imagined to be able to draw something nice and pleasant to look at.
Talent is an overused term. Of course there are people with the biggest passion for it who will always be better than other people at drawing. But I personally think as long as you put your mind to it, with practice, anyone can draw.
Fuck yeah serotonin

Do you mind sharing with me some of your work if you do? I think if you have pictures of your drawings at the start of your "mission" and some of your drawings now it would be really nice to see the progress that you made.

Sure. I don't have a scanner but I can photograph them if you want. I will upload them in about 7 hours I think.
