It's because romanization of korean, for example, Boxer's name is 임요환, which tecnically is im-yo-hwan. Same with JD, its e-jae-dong. |

| There's nothing wrong with adding that 'L'. Most English speakers saying 'Lee' pronounce it much closer to what it sounds like in Korean than if you told them that name is 'I' or 'Ee' or whatever, same with Lim vs Im / Eem. Saying that it 'doesn't belong there' is a little silly considering it's been that way more or less always. It's not like it's this way only for Korean names written in English, either - pretty much every language does that for foreign names. |

They do belong there though, don't they? Sure it's not written that way in Hangul but as far as I know Lee is the official romanization as we see it absolutely everywhere

Yep yep, Lee/Li and Lim are the Romanizations, sooo if anyone, blame the people who first romanized the names  |

Yes Lee is the official and correct romanized form for last names. Similar to how 박 in korean is romanized "Park" even though there is no "r" sound. It just makes everything a bit easier for westerners. |

You can't actually touch the emperor. If you do a drop ship conjures out of thin air and he drops three feet away from where he was.
