This is kind of to accompany my previous piece, The Dreamer and The Guillotine, which featured Nal_rA (Kang Min) and Guillotine, where he won 10 games, lost 0 during the starleagues (PoP tells me his overall record is 12-1, only losing to ClouD in the proleague).
So you might be thinking why, WHY The Emperor and Hall of Valhalla? I remember during the classic Boxer vs Joyo game on Paradoxx, Um Jae Kyung (commentator) mentions that Boxer has an uber record on both Island Maps (which Hall of Valhalla is) and Newly Introduced map (which Paradoxx was). Thus Hall of Valhalla was known as "Yo Hwan of Valhalla".
So here, we PROCEED!
Hanbitsoft Starleague (1st Place) [February 2001 - May 2001 Week 3 Group A Game 2: BoxeR > Kingdom Week 14 Semi Final B Game 1: BoxeR < Kingdom Week 15 Grand Final Game 3: BoxeR > JinNam
Coca-Cola Starleague (1st Place) [June 2001 - August 2001 Week 8 Round of 8 Group B Game 2: BoxeR > YellOw Week 14 Semi Final B Game 2: BoxeR > Isaac Week 15 Grand Final Game 1: BoxeR > YellOw Game 5: BoxeR > YellOw
KT King Of Kings [January 2002 - February 2002 Week 2: BoxeR < TheMarine Week 3: BoxeR > YellOw
Statistics Time! Overall: 9 Games, 7 Wins 2 Losses vs P: 1 Win 1 Loss vs T: 1 Loss vs Z: 6 Wins
Arguments! Well, The loss vs Kingdom was the only loss for BoxeR in that starleague, unfortunately. And in the KT KoK game, most players weren't trying that hard.
Conclusion If you disregard all of that, considering that era was mostly dominated of Zerg and Protoss players, it is a pretty good record. This is mainly the reason why he is known as the Emperor or the Hero of Terran (which should be his appropriate name, but meh Mantoss can have it).
