Summary: The lane oiling machine wasn't working right. The lanes were ridiculously dry. Everyone was angry. I adapted my throw by locking my elbow to greatly reduce my spin, but was not terribly precise this way. Miraculously I put up a good first game.
My scores: 190, ?, ?.
Game 1: Got kinda lucky... made like 3/3 or 4/4 10 pins which saved the game.
Game 2: It was like 120 something. Everyone was suffering though so relatively this wasn't so bad
Game 3: Similar to the second game. By this point one of the guys on the other team (who normally bowls ~210) was launching the ball through the air, jumping up and down, screaming, kicking things, throwing things, etc.
Conclusion: I didn't put any money in the envelope. I actually only owe 6 dollars since I was ahead from putting extra money in previous weeks, but when I show up next week if the lanes aren't in halfway decent shape I'm turning around and walking out, and they are out the 6 dollars.

I bowl tuesday night doubles and wednesday scratch~~~
tuesday is at avalon(AKA avawall around here)
wednesday at cordova lanes
Shot like 720 at avawall and 630ish? at cordova... Avalon is seriously a huge wall...typical xmas tree pattern...Left a lot of 9 pins towards latter half of second game and into the 3 game...couldnt get anything to flatten out without ringing a 10 so I just kept getting deeper and deeper..I actually almost left a 7-9 couple times...
Wednesday night is a scratch league on much much tougher conditions.. We come in after the handicapp league without them touching the lanes...No new heads..NOTHING~~~ So you end up just bowling on garbage because everyone in the handicapp league just sprays the bowl around 10 and prays~~ took 2 outta 4 points losing the last game and set(most frustating thing)...halfway through the last game i go bucket spare it 4 pin spare it 2-8 spare it 4-7 spare~~ tis how i felt all night..Just a shit ton of over under |
